Now is this so hard to understand ?The system is vastly different to Barca..Pirlo is literally the system at Juventus and you need midfielders who are astute tactically ,players with grinta and who are defensively very good to cover him which Xavi and Iniesta are not hence why i wouldnt swap them with Vidal and Marchisio..
If Pirlo is removed from the system,then thats a completely different question altogether..

It is definitely possible. A team being more superior than another, does not mean that the weaker team cannot overcome them over two matches. With the right mix of tactics, discipline, hard work, belief and sufficient quality to be competitive, almost anything can happen in football. Chelsea are a prime example of this.

That being said, we'd all laugh at Chelsea fans if they started spouting bullshit like they wouldn't swap Meireles for Iniesta, or they wouldn't swap Mata for Messi.

I dont want to repeat myself..Pirlo is literally the system at Juventus,he cannot play any other position other than the regista ,to incorporate Iniesta into the 3 man midfield i would have to drop Pirlo from the lineup since Pirlo is defensively a liability.. but i'd definitely change the formation just to incorporate Iniesta into the team to play him an AM or even outwide in a 4-3-3..

Fabregas IS NOT A FORWARD. Barca play him there as a fake forward to take up space and stretch out opponents/keep possession, same way Busquets played fake CB. Fabregas is a CM/AM who is a great playmaker and overall midfielder, just because Pep finds some unorthodox ways to fit him into a crowded team with Xavi and Iniesta and such, dont mean other teams would use him like that. Defenitely not playing to his strenghts, even if he scored and assist plenty enough for Barca past season.

Cesc is a creative CM(more of an AM/False 9 nowadays) whilst Marchisio is a natural B2B midfielder with insane work rate and very good tactically..It honestly is like comparing Xavi to Viera/Gerrard(not that i'm grouping both these players in the same bracket)..

I'd always want my midfield to be defensively sound and secure more than anything so yeah i would continue with Marchisio ahead of Cesc in my 3 man midfield..Marchisio though not as good as Cesc in the final third but is still an attacking threat with that being said.

I would play the Spain way just to have fabregas into the lineup but not in Marchisio's position and what his current role has to offer..In that respect 4-3-1-2 would be the ideal formation..

Yeah Fabregas is better than Marchisio, astounding.

I still don't rate Busquets as anything special. These players end up becoming overrated by virtue of it being overstated how underrated they are. Water carrier players if you are being harsh, doing the simple things well. Great. He came through Barcelona's system and B team in that role, he plays at Barcelona in that role, he plays with Spain in that role, with the same, far superior players around him, it's like clockwork. Defensively he is part of a team swarm defence. When it comes to physical contact he will more often than not try to play for a foul, usually by throwing himself to the floor and holding his face, despite the location or severity of any contact. Offensively he reads the play well, picks the ball up and passes to someone else. A Barcelona midfielder who can pass in tight areas and triangles. Amazing. Sometimes he does a nice pass or bit of skill. He wakes up doing this, he goes to bed doing this. Additionally he is a disgusting bastard on the pitch, a cheat and a con artist.

I appreciate players like this, but I really don't find them worthy of celebration.
