id rather watch EPL than la liga, thats how crappy that league is.
Depends on the EPL game, but it's become true for me as well. Valencia, Deportivo and Sevilla used to interest me.

They even delayed the kickoff time for one game because a TV station wanted to air the press conference from el clásico.

none of these crappy leagues come close to serie A, real madrid and barcelona are 2 of the best teams in the world(thats what happens when you pump a billion into 2 teams), their inclusion in the tadjik league wont make it the best in the world now would it? id rather watch EPL than la liga, thats how crappy that league is.
I'd rather watch Serie A over the Liga, thats how uninteresting it is to me, i'd rather watch the Ligue and the EPL too, but its not what i'd rather watch that determines the better league.

"But my main reason for saying that, is watching all 3 leagues and making a judgement, which obviously is down to nothing but observation. But then again, there really is no objective measure when it comes to football."

Tell me which part of that post do you not agree with? and everything in football is subjective you can't argue with that. Why do you say that C.Ronaldo is a better player than Messi? Why do you say that Chiellini is better than Bonucci? You watch the players in question and make a judgement of your own, you cannot objectively prove either of those statements. If you could, then there would hardly be anything to argue about when it comes to football. It is all down to individual judgement, and coming up with the best argument you can to back up your claim.

I think Hoori said it best, how do you determine which player is better than the other, which league is better than the other. "My eyes"

Well i prefer watching the Ligue over the Serie A without a doubt, does that mean that the Ligue is a stronger league? No, of course it doesn't. It just means that i enjoy the former over the latter. But all bias aside, i watch both leagues and can make a judgement that the Serie A is better.

Do you not enjoy watching the Argentine League over the EPL? Is the Argentine League better?

Its a simple point really, but you just love to tip toe around arguments, don't you? :p

Preference comes into the picture when we're discussing which league is the more entertaining one, but when it comes to which is the stronger league, we use our (as impartial as possible) judgement.

The argument is not simple you just like to simplify things too much, it's ok you;ll grow out of this black and white phase :p but let's go along with your argument. Impartial judgement of league strength has to be quality of players, but that just determines which league is the richest at the moment and that is obviously the EPL. So there too your liga choice is wrong. They dont have the best players, dont play the best football by any stretch, and is probably the 2nd most boring league as far standings after the SPL. So once again, why is la liga the best league??
