This argument, Ronaldo had a strong Manchester united team built around him and even a stronger RM team. Is barça a strong team yes, does Messi benefit from playing with players like Xavi and Iniesta, absolutely. But he's still superior to Ronaldo in every facette of the game bar FK.
I guess you don't watch RM these days, Ronaldo can't beat a fucking defender these days, he ruined his game when he bulked up like that, he's nowhere near the players he was 2/3 years ago. I used to rate him very high but not above Messi, but now he's just became a very " normal" player and many RM fans agree with me.
Never take Real fans seriously :D

That's a good argument. Because when Messi had Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets doing his dirty work - Ronaldo had an off-form Benzema, Lass and VDV playing next to him. Ronaldo did very well in that season.
Exactly but also, people are too busy jizzing over Messi's tricks that they don't notice how he fucks up with certain passes, when Xavi mops up after him & delivers pin point crosses/passes to him.

No i don't, but it's amazing how poorly he's been playing for sometime now even if he keeps scoring. Misplaced passes, fail at dribbling, poor controles.... He fucked it up when he bulked up like that, it helps you shoot with more power but he lost all his agility.
That's the difference between him and Messi, a poor game for Messi is when he doesn't score, you never see Messi making several misplaced passe, losing the ball, failing to control the ball....
He's way ahead of Ronaldo right now, and he should win the ballon d'or this year cause he's clearly ahead of anyone playing football right now.

I have watched all of Real games this season and I can safely say that you can't be any more wrong. He's having an excellent season, more of a team player now, irreplaceable. Messi and Ronaldo are by far the best players in the world at the moment but if I were to build a team and I had to choose between the two, it would be definitely the latter.

Messi needs to take a walk out of the Barca bubble to be considered as one of the best all time.

No he doesnt, why should he move? He's enjoying himself, he has the best team in the world around him, a beautiful city, a lot of money, a club which has taken care of him since he was 13...

he'd be an idiot to move.

Difference is Del Piero wasn't always surrounded by the best players in the world, nor was he integrated into the team's style or play & footballing philosophy since he was a wee kid. Del Piero carried this Juventus team on his shoulders on numerous occasions & his success along was inextricably linked with Juventus. Del Piero was never dubbed the greatest footballer in the world, so Messi hasn't proven himself in another league.

Messi never got a standing ovation at the Santiago Bernabeu.;)
