You must have not watched Milan in the CL last season. Inter have become pathetic too. United and Real Madrid are second best to Barcelona, with a distance from the rest. Milan and Inter don't even compare.
As for Milan's draw against Barcelona, that was indeed a surprise result, but you can bet your house they wont be able to beat Barcelona at San Siro, the best they can get is a draw. Milan, will probably be knocked out from the second round of the CL. I said that last season too, and i think Alen disagreed with me, and they got knocked out from the second round eventually, i think the same will happen this season, the second round is as far as they can get, because they simply aren't good enough in comparison to other European teams. I don't even understand how you can compare them to a team like Madrid, Madrid can beat Milan with their eyes closed.

That was before when you had DP at his best, he used to terrorize Casillas, you had players like Nedved, Camoranesi, even Chiellini at that time was better than he was now, you had Buffon before his injuries when he was undoubtedly the best keeper in the world, and in addition to all of that Real weren't as good at that time as they are now. Now they have Mourinho, C.Ronaldo, a good and organized defense, etc. Bottom line, things have changed, i strongly doubt you'd beat Real like you did 3 years ago if you played them now.
Chelsea are better than Milan, not so sure how City will fare in the CL. But Chelsea are definitely better than Milan. Milan is a pathetic, old and slow team that won't do anything of note in the CL. 2nd round is as far as they'll go, unless the draw goes very easy on them and gives them a Marseille or an Olympiakos.
