Hehe, fan bravado aside, despite the part of any team being able to lose a game, we wouldnt have much of a chance at all against these days stronger Real. They lost most of the weak/flaws that made them vurneable, and we lost most of the strong parts of us that made us the team we were, that could through a combination resilience, organisation and quality, bulldoze star studded teams like Reals one.

Every dog has it's day though. I am sure in the future we'll be able to compete against the like of Real. Don't you?

Obviously, been watching this club since 93, so I seen quite different teams/ups and downs. Just saying, lets be realistic. And I'm not sure when our up will come, or if its anytime soon at all (plus it coincides with needing whole of Serie A/italian footie to have one too), we screwed the pooch big time in summer of 2009. Was a vital period of revival that we failed fantastically at.

Hmm. I think AC would beat Chelsea Fred, they're the third best team in England and miles away from City and United now.

It seems you rate Chelsea higher than City and that's not true anymore.

I definitely don't rate Chelsea higher than City, but i think their players experience and their experience as a club would help them do better maybe in the CL. I just said i'm not sure how City's team would do in the CL this season, but i'm sure they have a better team than Chelsea and would definitely finish ahead of them in the league.

Who says they're not? Then England hasn't been a superpower EVER.
They're not a superpower, they're just having a good couple of years, come back if they go past the quarters in 2014.

Anyone else think that Kaka is slowly but surely getting back to his best? I thought I saw some of that old elegance in the last 2 games.
