Fuck off Fabiana. I told you; I don't teach people nothin'. It requires patience, time and effort. Neither of which I'm willing to waste on other beings but myself.

Yikes, that's one sucky book :D

Alright, point taken about the map :lazy:

This is of more use then; a map of the language families. What languages are related to German and Russian respectively:

My geography textbook is a sutpid book and it makes me sick..........:D

The first map was....well just a load of crap I have to say.

I have a German test tomorrow and...well...I speak Norwegian fluent and English, but I find German grammar and even the language so hard.

Everyone hates the german language here....It's almost compulsary here....either that or French.

    Both hard....believe me Taiwan boy..
    I'm not a boy .............:wallbang::wallbang:

Rubbish. German can be loads of fun.

Well, Austrian German anyway. One of my flatmates is Austrian. They have these cool words.

Tomato (ENG) = Tomate (GER) = Paradeiser (AUS)

Cool slang too. He learned me the following expression: "Du bist a geistiges Znichtele" which means "You're mentally skinny", it's a classy way of saying someone is a dumbfuck :D
I'll tell you what is fun: try Swiss :D

And yes, yes it is. Very hard. But Russian is harder.

From a Dutch point of view anyway.

Basti - I once tried to arrange a hotel in Switzerland, go out in town and ask for directions. When I came back home my doctor said it equals 5 years of stress in an ordinary country :D

    Arent Serbian and Bosnian closer?

And before you say they're the same, they are not, althp, they are very very similar.

For example, we say helikopter, you say vrtložnjak. We say kaiš, you say okolotrbušnipantolonosač :D
