Bullshit. You don't have to support the player. If fucking Illary Blasi was called up for the Azzurri, would you cheer for her? What you're doing is copping out like a little pussy bitch. Man up and when Amauri is placed on the team roster, protest the decision, or else you're nothing more than a sheep football fan.
Not really. Just said I dont want the player to be on the team and if he chooses to play for us then Ill hope he isnt picked. I don't want him, Ive made that clear, and I don't have to repeat myself. Keep up with the name calling though.

Somehow I have a feeling that Lippi will not call Italy's best forward to the national team.
Same here, which is pretty stupid.

lol I was responding to salv, you just happened to make your post a few seconds earlier than mine....
    Ohh, word. No worries.

Yeah... you don't want him because of his lack of Italian blood.

I don't know what's more retarded... you not want him because of that nonsense or you not making a stink about Amauri if he does play.

Weeeeeee, I hate you Amauri cuz you're not a real Italian but yesssss great goal GRAZIE MILLE! :weee:

    :disagree:

Wrong. I didn't want him to play, but I support my country. IF he plays, then I have to support him.
    No you don't.

I despise half the Scotland team, but still support the team.

I nearly got my head kicked in at Hampden when I booed some Rangers players when they were coming onto the pitch for a Scotland game.

Exactly. Salvatore doesn't understand this concept apparently. He has a rather conformist attitude that in my opinion shows lack of support for his team.

If people such as him so fervently detest a player, they should show it even while the player is on the team because he supposedly cares about the team.

    Indeed.

I didn't celebrate Scotland's goal against Italy because

    1. Even from the oppositie end of the ground, I thought, correctly, that it was offside.

    2. By the time I realise the goal has been given, I realise it was Barry 'cuntface' Ferguson who scored.

However, doesn't that hate for that little cunt stem from club football? Or do you have another reason to reject him from playing for the country?

And for example, I boo Landon Donovan every time he steps on the pitch. Don't like that pussy.

It all comes down to club football.

He is Rangers captain. I still haven't stopped laughing at him crying when we stopped them winning the league on the last day of last season.

    I suppose that's acceptable.

If I was an Azzurri fan I don't know how I could cheer for Materazzi.

Exactly. It's just the same thing.

The fact is that I care far more about Aberdeen than Scotland and so I can't temporarily switch off my hatred of certain players.

    Amauri makes his choice

    Amauri wants to represent Brazil

BRASILIA (SW) - Juventus player Amauri has made a choice regarding his international career, and will be representing Brazil when given a chance.

Amauri, who is about to receive the Italian nationality, needed a considerable amount of time to make a choice. This to the dismay of Brazil boss Dunga and Italian coach Lippi.

The 28-year-old made an end to the long wait, in favor of the Seleçao: "I want to play for the team of my country, Brazil. That has been my dream since I was little."

In an interview with British Channel 4, Amauri went on to say that "it would be a great honour to wear the green and gold of Brazil."

It remains to be seen though, whether Dunga will be making use of the forward after his recent comments: "If he is waiting to get in touch with me, he can wait a long time."

I hope Dunga doesn't pick Amauri and he still plays for the Azzurri.

If you think about it, Amauri's travel time will be cut down nearly 100% since he won't have to travel so far to Brazil, so it would be much better for us.
