Here's my confession. I am a smoker, and have been doing so since I was 11. At that time, there was no such law prohibiting underaged smoking. Marijuana has always been banned here. I've tried a couple of times, but now no longer. I did try to quit smoking tobacco, twice, but not successful. My parents found out about my habits when I was 12. They were obviously not happy, but slowly they are ok about it. I still smoke at home.

Back when I was younger a small pack cost about $2.10 per pack, and over the years, the price increases and until November last year, the same small pack cost $4.80. Now we no longer get small packs here. A Marlboro Menthol Lights big pack costs about $8.30 early this year, but again it has risen to $9.50. But I still buy them. It can last me for 2 1/2 days. When I go clubbing, I can finish the same in a day.

We are lucky, but incomes in Azerbaijan are too low for the majority of population to afford the best brands.

Yeah, that's what I heard about Canada. In the US, depending on the state, it varies from $3.00 to $6.00

It all started out of curiousity. My grandad smokes and he makes all sorts of tricks (such as convicing me he was able to inhale from his mouth and exhale from his...ears!!) And I believed that :wallbang: (edited to add: and also trying very hard to make the perfect "O")

Then there was a period of time when everyone was doing it and I don't want to miss out - yes I admit that :)rolleyes: @ self). Over the years it just seems so difficult to stop :-/
