Pelle for Zaza lol. Such mediocrity
Definitely - both players are mediocre. But honestly, Pelle has some interest attributes. He is actually very good distributor for being a CF. He could potentially create a lot of space, and be useful in certain matches. He would cost 10 million euro, while you could sell Zaza for 25-30 million to the EPL.

If we kept Morata, a strike force of Mandzukic, Morata, Dybala, Pelle isn't bad. If we sell Morata, we will need to buy a striker who is more quick. Pelle, Mandzukic w/o a Morata replacement is asking to be pinned by the likes of Bayern type pressing teams.

I'm only advocating selling if the price is significantly above market. If a team offers £20-25+ for Zaza, it is a no-brainer.

Looks like Zaza got a lil butthurt after not starting last game. Complained about mins after the game. The next day his agent had the same complaints. Understandable. He should've started in last game.

Agree with @Osman. Selling Zaza for 25m and buying Lapadula for ~10m (or just replacing Zaza with Berardi and no one else) is a no-brainer. We gain ~15m, Lapa seems to have higher ceiling, and he is club HG.

Pelle would be great as reserve striker too, but better Lapa than Pelle. They'd cost roughly the same, Lapa has potential, Pelle doesn't, and Lapa is club HG.

he is?

oh he played for the youth team before puberty... home grown status is only for players who were here for three years between 15-21

Zaza’s future far from Black and White
A goal last Sunday reignited talk of Simone Zaza’s future at Juventus. On the periphery for Massimiliano Allegri’s team, Luca Cetta assesses the striker’s situation.

Simone Zaza did against Carpi what he’s done throughout the campaign. He made the most of an opportunity. His looping header from Paul Pogba’s cross sealed a 2-0 win for Juventus, in their first outing since sealing a fifth successive Scudetto.

Speaking after a fifth league goal of the season, Zaza admitted some frustration with how his first Juventus season has progressed. “I am not satisfied with my individual season. In any case, I have no regrets, as I gave my all when called into action.”

Massimiliano Allegri was then prompted to comment. “He had a lot of patience and so did I,” came the reply. “I have to make choices and being in a big club means competition for places. This was his first year at Juventus and he was decisive, as the goal against Napoli was fundamental, but he plays for a top club and that means always giving his best.”

Allegri is right. The Italian international was a half-time replacement on Sunday for the injured Alvaro Morata and capped his 45 minutes with a goal. That’s five goals from the bench in all competitions, out of eight. Zaza’s return of a goal every 106 minutes is a club best. It includes decisive strikes against Frosinone and in the Coppa Italia Turin Derby, but none more important than his winner against Napoli.

“It’s still been a very good season so far,” agent Christian Maifredi insisted. “It’s normal that every player wants to play, but eight goals already is a good haul.”

Eagerness to make his mark when he does play means that Zaza is sometimes guilty of rash tackles. He has as many yellow cards as he does goals, in addition to a dismissal. That hasn’t pleased Allegri and is something he will need to tone down. But the 24-year-old does offer the boss a dangerous weapon when called upon.

But can Zaza be more? In Serie A he has just four starts to his name and none since February. Of the outfield players it is the lowest amount in the squad. Paulo Dybala has 27 starts, Mario Mandzukic 23 and Morata 17. The Argentine has been one of Juve’s standouts and is a lock to occupy the free-roaming role behind the main striker. That leaves three players battling for one spot. Mandzukic has proved a reliable scorer when fit, while Morata is the most unique of the trio and well-suited to Champions League football. But each has played their part.

Zaza is expected to travel to Euro 2016 as part of Antonio Conte’s 23-man squad and the tournament could have an impact on his future. A positive French summer may raise his market value. But that begs the question of whether Juve wish to sell. They have other transfer concerns to handle in the upcoming window without the need to look for another striker. Nor is the future of Morata clear, with Real Madrid’s buyback clause still to be settled. And does Zaza want to go? It is his first season fighting for a spot at a big club. He may want to continue that fight. Allegri has been pleased with his contributions.

Not that Zaza is without suitors. Newly crowned English champions Leicester City are the latest to be linked with the No 7. There was also Premier League interest in January – West Ham and Crystal Palace were said to be keen – but nothing matched Juve’s €25m evaluation. Closer to home, Roma and Milan are believed to be keeping a keen eye on proceedings.

Zaza is set for a fifth start this weekend as Juventus go to already-relegated Verona. Morata will be given time to heal ahead of the Coppa Italia Final and Mandzukic is suspended. It gives the Italian another opportunity to impress the boss. With the situation between club and player delicately poised, the match takes on added significance for Zaza.

The former Sassuolo striker has shown what he can offer in those fleeting appearances this term. Going forward, Euro 2016 may yet have an impact on his future. The question that must be answered is whether Juventus believe he can take the next step.

Don't get the hate for Pelle. He is Conte's clear cut choice at centre-forward. Watch Pelle's distribution of the ball - it is very good for a CF. He isn't Juventus starter caliber, but he is certainly good enough to be a bench option.

We have Mandzukic already whos better in all that than Pelle with the addition of his pressing game. Zaza is a different type of striker and gives us more flexibility upfront than Pelle would

Pelle

of course he's cheap. because he is mediocre and soon 31. also Zaza is a different player btw, free roaming and pretty quick. Pelle is a italian 10$ version of Llorente.

rather bring back Matri. @Bianconero_Aus.

His future depends on morata and berardi.
If we keep morata and sign berardi, zaza will move.

I think next season, we will have 4 attacker + 1 versatile attacker.
It could be dybala, mandzukic, two of zaza, morata, berardi and pereyra.

If cavani join us, i think we will sell mandzukic.

@Lapa :touched:
Pelle is easily better than Llorente.

Llorente can't do anything other than head the ball.
Pelle's hold up game is miles ahead of Llorente's in terms of ball distribution after creating space. He creates a lot for his teammates.

Pelle is shite. And Zaza as someone correctly put offers a different dimension to his game and ours. He's the better player, with a higher ceiling and calibre. It wouldn't be a like for like swap and it certainly wouldn't be a step up. It would be different in the sense that it would allow the wider players to be used more extensively than Zazas presence otherwise allows.

Even in his first season here he was better then Pelle could dream of.
Also remember when Bilbao and Llorente killed Man U :touched:

What's up with Munain now? I remember we wanted him.
