I actually think he will turn to be one of the best strikers in Europe. He got that hunger and sharpness that very few others got. Zaza is also tehnically and phisycally complete striker.

Simone Zaza is 'not intimidated by the competition' at Juventus, but says he'll miss Sassuolo.

The 23-year-old has been courted by the Bianconeri for some time as part of their ongoing ItalJuve project, but the player is still not entirely certain about his final destination.

“I can't estimate the odds of where I'm going because it's not just down to me,” he told Tuttosport.

“I know that Juventus want me, and I've always said that I'd be leaving Sassuolo, eventually, only for a great team. Otherwise I'd stay here.

“Sassuolo for me are like family, I've never been the object of so much affection nor have I ever felt such a bond towards a city.

“I've always had a proximity with the Bianconeri, I've known for months about their interest in me. I know they keep tracking me and they'd like to have me in June.

“Naturally this is a source of pride for me, but now I must think about closing my season here well.

“I don't regret not joining them in January. At that point I wanted to stay here and so did Sassuolo.”

Zaza was also asked whether he felt nervous about the competition at the Old Lady, in particular their prominent new striker from Palermo, Paulo Dybala.

“I'm not the type to be intimidated. I know that Juventus have strikers who are strong and well-established, certainly much more than I am.

“But I'm confident in my potential and I believe in myself. In fact, I find it exciting to have this kind of competition.

“As for Dybala, as I've said in the past, he's among the Serie A strikers that I like the most. We're players of a different type, and he's certainly an excellent investment.”

Finally, Zaza was asked whether today's game against Genoa would be his last with the Neroverdi shirt.

“I don't know and I don't want to think about it,” he said. “These are arguments I'll consider next week, when the championship is over.

“But the idea of leaving this place saddens me.

“I give my season a 6.5 out of 10, maybe a 7. After a good start I had too many ups and downs and I was hoping to score at least 12, 13 goals.

“On the whole it's been a positive season, I just hope I can score tomorrow so I can make it into the double digits.

“But Genoa are going to be tough and driven to gather points, it's not going to be easy.”

We'll keep Berardi there with a buyback and get Zaza in exchange effectively paying no money.
Really hope this is the case because i dont want to see us spend 30m on both Zaza and Berardi.

Also, if Zaza isn't just talking out of his ass here, it means that one of Matri or Llorente is certain to leave. Probably the former I'd guess.

Matri is on loan... He is gone for sure. And Zaza would be a cheap solution if we use Berardi. We will put a heavy buyback clause on Domenico and he can be our big signing next season.
