Yes, but the point is, Pepe is a midfielder and he isn't supposed to score goals, he needs to provoke things. he probably won't score regularly either. His two games were really awful bar the goal. Also, his purpose is to contribute to our game and he doesn't.

Also, Quaresma sure isn't the best player out of the two, because obviously Nedved contributed more as a player. Pepe contributes next to nothing to our play, and don't be surprise if he doesn't score in the future.

Decision making is an important factor in regards to what makes a good footballer, so you can't disregard it when you compare two players.

I got some slack because I said Giaccherini was the better player and then you went on saying he played worst in those two games and that he was showing otherwise. Even if it were true, how the hell is it an indicator of him being the better player?

If Lichtsteiner wouldn't have scored at all and if Motta did, would have that mean he is the better player? I extrapolated a little bit, and I know it's a bit different when it comes to defenders in regards to their roles because we expect different things from them, but my point still stands. Giaccherini is the more skilled, be it mentally (example: decision making wise, because yes I consider it a skill) or on the ball and he contribute more overall in a game (even while doing nothing) as he isn't fucking up.
