lol how? He's been terrible in his first two matches, at least Pepe was sprinting up and down his flank, making tackles and pressuring the opposition.

Giacc hasn't done dick.

Pepe failed pretty much everything he attempted unlike Giaccherini. He also was really wasteful in possession.
You've got it completely backwards. Against Parma everytime Giacc saw the ball he did one of three things: pass back, give away possession, or fall flat on his ass on the pitch.

He actually managed to maintain his footing against Siena but was still worse than Pepe.

Pepe has been the more effective, yes. Is he the best footballer out of the two? hell no!
