yeah, i was unimpressed with him last night but i don't think he is a terrible player, put in a decent shift in his debut against milan. The jury is still out on Padoin
Some people really exaggerated about how poor Padoin is. He's a decent backup for the CM. I agree he should never be deployed as a wingback again...what was Conte thinking. But to sub in for the 3 midfielders (if we play a 4-3-3) than that shouldn't be a problem.
true, as far as the CM role is concerned, but since he is supposedly a multi purpose player, we might use him elsewhere.
The silliest thing is to start him though, why bother, we bought him to sit on the bench.
