About to start the 2012 Euro Cup campaign. my first tournament as manager of Italy. I took England to a 2010 WC win, so expectations are high for me.
The only problem is I have drawn the most difficult group in international football history:

Greece

Brushed aside France with early goals from Rossi and Montolivo in the first 20 minutes. The score could have easily been 5-0 with Rossi missing a long shot in the second half just grazing the top of the bar and Montolivo choking on an open net shot. Also it took a fantastic save by Frey to stop a Criscito header from finding the net from a Pirlo corner kick.
Spain beat Greece 3-1 in the other Group D fixture. I play Greece next, so I'm hoping I can win that match and have Spain lose to France to put me in command of that group.

Shitty 1-1 draw with Greece. Pirlo hit a second half pewnalty to put me up 1-0, defense was playing great so baring a fluke I thought I had it.
Well, Chiellini picks up an injury and before I sub him out he fouls their winger in the box and Greece levels it on their spot kick. Garbage.
Spain qualified, now I have to draw or win vs. Spain or if I lose hope France draws or defeats Greece. I'm pretty sure I'm locked into the second round since I have a four goal advantage in GD.
Still pissed, though.

I thrashed Spain 4-0, Barzagli powered in two headers of Pirlo corners and nearly connected on a third that rattled off the upright and was knocked in by DeRossi.
With 7 points I win the group and head into the knockout round knowing I can beat anyone, but will also play down to sides with less quality than mine.
