haha o deary me, luckily for u my new update has deleted him due to retirement

by spending 3 days recreating the teams so they have new i.d numbers and switching the players from the original team to the newly created one and then making sure that at least the main player's playing history are replaced with its current club so it wont have unknown club written. ie before maldini had milan in every year of his playing history, after the new milan which on face is identical to the original milan his playing history had unknown club written so i had to replace that with the new milan. hard and tiresome work but worth it
ok.. i got another copy of FM 2007, installed it... applied the patches, started a new game but everything still seems to run from the 7.0 db. THIS IS SOOO FRUSTRATING.
Badass: You told me maybe it was that there was something wrong with the 702 patch i downloaded, so i downloaded it from another source but still same problem.
