Should Beppe Marotta be sacked? (2 Viewers)

Should Marotta be sacked?

  • Yes - his signings are an embarrassment to the club

  • No - he just got us to the Scudetto and we should see where that takes us

  • WTF - When did we suddenly inherit aching ladyparts like interisti?

Who do you expect to beg the deal? Me? You? It`s his job to beg deals.
It was us or Bayern, and we were pretty lucky because Leverkusen didn`t want to sell him to direct rival.
But Marotta sealed the deal for 10.5m euro. No matter how much you dance around that fact, it stands. If Vidal turned out horrible, you would be blaming Marotta for not sealing the Inler deal and calling for Conte's head?

WHat depth tough.

We have great depth in the right wing. Licht/Caceres/Pepe, we definetely didn't need Isla or to put in another way we needed a CF more than him.

Giaccherini: Meh.

Gabbiadini/Leali: Will they ever play for Juve, pls don't tell big talent, we brought Applet who owned Ronaldinho in Brazil and now he's in pro vercelli with an option to buy.

So in the end i would a prefer a single WC striker over this 4 players who cost almost 32 mil
Why the Isla transfer hate?

Isla is versatile. He can play RB, RWB, LWB, CM, DMF, RW, LW. How can you not appretiate that we have a diamond of a player like Isla in our team? Trust me you will take all your words back when you see him perform for us.

He made a big mistake by signing Bendtner, but he shouldn't be fired. People need to understand that CEO does not only sell and buy players. He started a project at Juventus and if we fire him in his second year, a new CEO will come and start all over again.

Why do we always sound like Marrotta has a list of credits to his name? What were his qualifications before we hired him?? Apart from qualifying for the CL with Sampdoria?? Hiring Daniel Prade, Sabatini is hardly any worse than what we have at this point: a guy who can't sign anybody above 15.5m euros. Or 18, for Matri, was it!?
Daniele Prade? Jeez, listen to yourself man. Daniele Prade has one decent mercato with Fiorentina, and all of the sudden he is the big gun? Do you realize that he bought Adriano at Roma, bought Borriello on €4 mill wages? Just take a look at Pizarro, Taddei and Perrotta's long term high wages contracts at Roma. Not to mention Cassetti :sergio:

Sabatini? The same Sabatini who hired ZEMAN at his club? Same Sabatini that bought Osvaldo for a similar sum as Matri, in different circumstances?

Listen, Marotta isn't perfect. He is far from perfect. I am not saying that he has done a great job at Juve. He made a lot of mistakes, like releasing Trezeguet and the grave mistake of not replacing him. The huge mistake of signing Delneri as the coach...

However, I think he grew in the mercato alongside Conte and I think these two compliment each other very well. It seems to me that they have a good understanding. Many of the players brought in between 2011/2012 and now have been requested by Conte.. (I am not saying Borriello & Bendtner, I think these two are Marotta's)

No sporting director, or CEO is perfect. A year from now everyone were fapping at Corvino and frickin Fiorentina fired him.

that's not the point. the point is then bendtner would have cost a measly 6 million. a steal.

barzagli was always a good defender. reason he was underrated is because of the stupid stigma here that if he is italian = bad.
How is it not the point? I'm arguing with you about who gets more of the credit, Conte or Marotta.

Barzagli was brought here to backup Bonucci and Chiellini. Not to be one of the best in the world. Conte made that happen, Marotta's initial plan was for Barza to be a backup.

Marotta can get credit for getting us Vidal for example. He was obviously one of the best midfielders in Germany and he managed to sign him for a ridiculously small amount.

Again, it`s his job to conclude the deal. You don`t expect someone else from the club to do these things for him, right? Vidal was on his last year of the contract, that`s why we got him so cheap. And we were pretty lucky because Leverkusen didn`t want to sell to Bayern.

Isla and asamoah were togheter with di natale the main reason why their provincial team made such hights

Now Isla has taken the step up to juve, people unrate him, without watching him play once ...

... while we could all see what his mate asamoah did

If Llorente/Dzeko or any of our top forward candidates move today to anywhere in the region of 25m then I think Marotta needs to be given a rethink. Getting Bendtner is not the worse thing, the figures of the deal suggest that its nothing more than a backup player, whats irking people all over is the fact that we`ve not got our top player!

How do we know that Marotta's plan wasn't to make Barzagli compete with Bonucci and Chiellini?

The idiot thought he has the mercato in his hand and in the last day will bring some big gun . I`m 100% sure that he thought that Bilbao will lower their demands.

He did like an amateur today. . .

Wait, what? This is a totally different situation. Cannavaro was a star in Italy, Barza was not and he had declined and was brought as a backup. But, since Capello gets the edge because he's the one responsible for Canna playing much better for us than he ever did for Inter.

Look at it this way, if you had to sacrifice Conte or Marotta.. who would you sacrifice?

And it seems like Asamoah has prevented the need for someone like Peluso if he can adapt to this left wing back position. B81 has been spared.
