Should Beppe Marotta be sacked? (1 Viewer)

Should Marotta be sacked?

  • Yes - his signings are an embarrassment to the club

  • No - he just got us to the Scudetto and we should see where that takes us

  • WTF - When did we suddenly inherit aching ladyparts like interisti?

After he failed yet again to sign his so called promised ''top player'' and made an embarrassment of himself and Juventus by signing utter shit players near deadline day I would like to ask the question should Beppe's contact be extended or not?

Could the mods add a poll maybe?

I know we won't fire him, but we should. The guy have no strategy in the market, no negociations skills, can't handle the media..Takes forever to conclude deals, don't have a reputation in Europe.
He came earlier in the summer saying that Juve biggest need is a striker and now he's telling us that we didn't need one

He's so incompetent and if don't fire him, we'll be ruining a potentially great team with a great coach who can do wonderfull things in Europe with a couple of WC signing, something Beppe can't deliver.

Well if people are content with the team building he has accomplished up until now, from goalkeepers to defenders to midfielders, but can admit that he's an utter failure when it comes to strikers, let him go when his contract ends in 2013 and let someone else take over who can negotiate the bigger moves in the market.

Being fired and not extending his contract are two different things I believe. When does his contract run out anyway?

I thought getting sacked was a more catchy topic title :D.

His contract runs out in 2013 iirc.

His job of building the team is done. That is also in all probability his core competency. But the ambitions this team has, its pretty obvious we need somebody else to take it to the next level and bring in the quality where it's missing, because this guy has had three seasons to fix core issues and has failed in exactly the same way, not learning from his mistakes at any point, each of those three times. Sack.
