another loser who wanted to be Rambo for a day. At least they took care of him. Second time this happens in a school, the other time was in the national assembly.

Even with gun laws street gangs and almost anybody can get a firearm quit easily.

People shouldn't be allowed to have guns. The only people that I see that should be allowed to have guns are police men and professional hunters. I don't know why anyone else should be allowed to have a gun. The American laws about guns are a joke if you ask me. People think having a gun is their right (!). That may have been a good thing in 1900, but it's not anymore.

its not the laws that are the problem when they arent enforced properly...
ok...just goes to show that ANYONE can get a gun, no matter what "laws" are made

the only ppl who are being penalized are the law abiding citizens who have enough responsibility to have a gun to protect themselves from the scum of the earth...

its funny that in Canada, even police officers arent allowed to carry their guns off duty...what a fucking joke !!

why would hunters be allowed to own guns? hunting is about as archaic (spelling) as marrying one's cousin..
I said professional hunters. People will always like to eat wild animals as the difference in taste is considerable.

And who decides whether they're the scum of the earth or not? The citizens do. By that logic, the gunman could have considered himself as protecting the rest of society from these dangerous students. If you ask me, no citizen should be allowed this moral choice.

not that i know anything about canadian gun laws, but these guns came from the area which isnt regulated by law, the back market. and its a job of law enforcement forces to deal with that. if they cant, no matter what the laws are, they aint gonna work properly.

which makes perfect sense. why should they be allowed?

Seven..thats a serious reach !!

If a person has a criminal record, or has been diagnosed with mental issues in the past, then they shouldnt be allowed to get a pistol permit

How many ppl who have pistol permits have actually used their guns in any illegal way ??

the answer is very nearly zero !!

the black market will always be there...always !!

Why shouldnt police be allowed to carry their guns off duty ?? Just imagine being with your family, on your own time, and bumping into someone you arrested, who is extremely violent (which actually happened to me...twice !!)

It is my right to protect myself AND my family from someone who has already attempted to do bodily harm to me.

They say that tey get guns for protection. My theory is the danger comes at the same moment the gun enters a home. It IS the source of danger and there is absolutely no protection against it.

As for the subject, may the injured get well and those who died rest in peace.
