I don't know what it is, if it's training or what but it's just common sense not to shoot that guy. Really there is no excuse for it. Going around shooting cops is just as retarded. When shit like this happens the cop in question needs to be punished as would any normal citizen. Whether it was racially motivated or not I have no idea, I'm sure there were some racial undertones whether it was intentional or not. I assume and I could be wrong but the biggest issue is probably cop culture in these cases, you have to protect your brothers and sisters who wear the badge. No police officer wants to put a fellow cop away but in these circumstances you don't have a choice.

There is truly no excuse to shoot a person in that circumstance. None whatsoever. For it to keep happening, while I understand that the US is a huge place and obviously with more call outs the chance of this sort of shit happening is higher but I mean that should just be basic training. If someone can't keep his cool under pressure like that he probably shouldn't be a cop.

Like I said before, those in the police that have no probable cause to discharge their firearms should face punishment. Those cases definitely do exist, but they appear to be a minority. Of course if you have a passion for hating a particular group of people you patrol, you probably shouldn't have the job.

But did they face punishment? The black population seem to have trust issues, even from a practical perspective I'd say if some of those infamous cases had been addressed probably the reactions after each and every similar incident would have dramatically lessened.

On the grand scheme of things, how big of an issue is this, really? Take Chicago for example. 2000 shootings by citizens, or 200 or so across the country by police?

It's like saying why do we need to spend time and resources to cure AIDS when more people die of cancer. These are two different problems each of which deserves attention. Their magnitude is irrelevant, although like that woman said one who wears that uniform has a much greater responsibility that if he/she cannot take they can and should move out. This alone makes these instances of police brutality even more important.

And that is a problem in some instances. But even in the Baltimore case, the mayor and DA were both so passionate and sure about a conviction that it didn't happen because the evidence wasn't there. The police picked up the individual in question because he was breaking the law, something he could have prevented in the first place. Although, he did have something like 20 criminal convictions prior to that, so perhaps it was just his nature. There's no evidence as to what occurred in the police transport.

So the conclusion here is this: stop breaking the law and chances are you will not be shot or killed by police. The whole BLM movement is just another example of how mentally ill this country has become. Instead of fixing the cultural issues the run rampant in various communities, they blame the police who apparently killed less than the number of people who die from bee stings each year -- and that figure includes those breaking the law to begin with. Essentially, the actions of these people are not important, which is similar to a childlike mentality where they have to be rewarded for good behavior. What, Chicago had something like two fucking THOUSAND shootings in the past year from criminals breaking the law, much of which was black on black violence? Yet the cops are solely to blame? Give me a break.

Until folks start taking responsibility for their own actions, this whole discussion is a complete waste of time.

We're cutting public spending the wrong places. Police, teachers etc.. Then they have to show numbers to justify their work. The police have to use way too much time on chasing people, who just wanna go home and smoke their weed. The Wire was spot on here. This shit is also happening here.

Possibly, the Benghazi attack could have been planned from information obtained from her (it's not certain whether her server was hacked) or the people whom she was in contact with that were hacked. She most likely had top secret information regarding HUMINT which if hacked could have jeopardised lives abroad.

The Obamacare website rollout was a bunch of contractors put on the job for a national program switched on overnight. That was one of the biggest fake scandals ever, especially when Twitter made the Fail Whale an international symbol for their tribulations. Yet people found that surprising? That a new web site launch goes slow and underperforms?
