In the few places that private guys have moved in, power is steady but more expensive. IMO I'd rather pay for more expensive but efficient.

:D Then, yeah, we have that. its called PLN here, and it is still solely reponsible for all electricity in Indonesia.

Ive recorded about 7-8 blackouts this year already. But it depends alot on the area within Jakarta, some are not as well maintained than
others.

no Im not... it might be a bit exagerated by the words I picked, but it is that bad, especially about the traffic.

exagerated yes, that's why it seems worse than it really are.
And u're right about the traffic. I hope they fix the whole system totally. :groan:
