I don't like Portugal for some reason. Probably because of the nine months of undermining the US National team that many Portugese fans did prior to WC2002. I'm sure it will be a madhouse around here if Portugal wins because there is a very large Portugese population around here.

You gotta admit, Greece is very impressive. They already beat Portugal once, whose to say it won't happen again? I had a feeling for some reason about this Greek side before the tournament, I really should have placed a bet or something. Oh well. I'd watch the final, if I could

Ha ha ha!!!! What a EURO!

Great results we see by Greece! And this year's Final will be the same as an opening match! Let's hope it will be as disapointing for the homeside as was the first game.

Forza Greece!

Hats off to the greek that controlled Baros and Koller the whole game. They neutralized the Czechs. It sucked in some way because we couldnt see so much of what the Czechs had to offer, but good job to Greece

I still can't believe it... I just can't understand it... unbelieveble...

not that inbelieveble if you think about it. at this stage all the teams are equal. the goal was a little cheap at the moment when it came but koller should have scored a lot earlier.

what i day to remember?
first i took my cardiology exams and then...
the miracle!!!
we are in the final!
be realistic, Greece isn t better team than france(best euro material) or czech(best form and play),
the only thing they could do is play like they did and only score once the right time.and they did perfect, they worth it,the other teams sould play better because they can,
they sould prove that they are better teams.
Greece beaten portugal and more powerfull teams, imo they deserve more, because they gave more, this is what i expect to see from juve.Passion.
like we did last year with real and barcelona,
who was sorry when juve being less attacking than the other team, but controling the game and result?
there are 2 ways 2 beat a game
-defending(certain)
-attacking(exciting),
i believe italy and juve funs know that!
does anyone knows if neddy is serius injured?

Eh crappy Euro this year. This was the last straw for me, I'm not wathin the final cause I really don't care anymore.
I'm afraid grapes can't get much more sour than this. The usual favorites have been summarily booted out (and fairly, I might add), so now it obviously has to be a flaw with the tournament??

All due respect, but this attitude sounds like Euro-centric WC 2002 deja vu whining all over again. (e.g., "My Euro galacticos lost, whaaaa, so I am taking all my toys to another sandbox.")

Are we that thin-skinned that we can't handle sharing some of the glory with hard-working, long under-appreciated teams that have finally earned their right to eat at the same table? To me, this is like Juve coming in third in Serie A so we decide to dismiss the whole league. That is just so lame on so many levels, it's really disappointing to hear this kind of attitude.

swag, I get where you're coming from. And I still think WC2002 was a fluke and a crap tournament. But you see the whole point in waiting for these competitions for 4 years is to see the best teams and players go tete a tete. And when they don't play upto their best, a whole lot of prestige is lost imo. Even if they lose at least I want some real action, there is no excuse for how bad France was this time and they are supposed to be the best team in Europe..

And I'm not really much of a neutral fan, I like to keep my favorites everytime, it's so much more interesting then. Now all my teams are out and I don't care about about the finalists. I'm not saying they cheated or they didn't deserve it but I just have no interest in them. Let me also add that the competition has been pretty boring this year. A lot of the games have been dull (as opposed to the kick ass action 4 years ago) and thus being a neutral viewer is even less appealing. Last night I was so bored that I forced myself to watch the end of the game and it's been like that most of the latest games.
