Boumsong is more to blame for the 2nd goal rather than the pk, where the player overreacted.

Just couldn't score today. For the amount of possession Juve had, they should have been up by 2 at half time.

Palladino was the most impressive player upfront today. Created and scored. Although he did miss a few good chances, but so did every1 else.

does a 4-2-4 formation make sense to you...
guys he was playing a flat out 4-4-2 with palla and del piero as wingers, lt not forget he has no cammo, no nedved, and no marchioni. the mistake was not in the formation it hink th mistake was that he kept playing this way after he removed zannetti.

chiellini central defender in my opinion is wasted.. id rather see him back on the lefft
He can cross on occasion, and we lose a bit of that in the CB role. But he can be an effective CB too -- particularly given our talent shortages there. :(

It was a 4-4-2, but given the player choices it was really a 4-2-4 shoehorned into a 4-4-2.

I do think one of DDs mistakes is that he should have pulled someone like Zala for a defender or even midfielder.

Why did DD sub Zanetti for Claudio Marchisio? Surely Claudio should have replaced Boum, & leave Cristiano in front of Claudio to give the youngster a bit of reassurance of having a competent veteran in front of him; to help him if need be? I noticed that Arrezzo's goals came after this sub. Was Zanetti covering for Boum earlier?

i don't understand why didi always put boumhung in the starting line up... only because he's french?

he has no choice its either boumsoung or kovac.
I prefer Robert, but he was injured. Like you said, we had no choice, except the suggested sub as above.

however, how much arezzo president pay for draw )))))) ????
The real question is, how much did Newcastle pay us to get boumsong?

i don't understand why didi always put boumhung in the starting line up... only because he's french?
Or because he and bum bum have the same manager?

I really hope this is not the reason why he was bought in the first place.

I honestly thought Palladino was our worst player on the pitch (yes, even worse than Boumsong) for the first half of the match. He had clear opportunities created by DP and others that he just squandered. He turned over the ball too often. His passes and crosses were horribly over people's heads. He seemed to squander a good third of our offensive chances in the first half.

The second half, he started by doing the best thing he could have for the first goal: stay out of the way. The step-over allowed Trez to make a monster finish, which he did. Though I give Palla props for the finishing on the second goal, which was perfect placement with just enough power.

Still, DP was our best offensive threat. Take away the great goal, and Zala had a better night than Palladino, IMO.
