Chellini and balza r 2 promising younfsters and they played well last season !!!!
we should be patient with both of them !

Promising youngster is someone who has 20 years or less.

Balza is 26.

actually he will be 25 in december

and if the situation with Gianni stays the same then i think we will need Marchisio to step in the midfield whether it is the 4-4-2 or 4-3-3.

actually it was a very smart move from DD giving Marchisio about 5 mins of play in the last game

I hope Trezi has his scoring boots on, cuz they wont give us many chances and if we take the early ones then we will have a big chance of scoring more early on.

Big difference, 25 or 26. The point is same.

Why was that so smart?

ofcourse it was the same point

it was a smart move cuz he knew he will most probably need him at some point in this game. And giving the young player a feel/run of playing for the first team just remove the anxities of the first game etc..
Its always hard for young player to be just thrown into any game, especially if he didnt play at all.

DD had the option to introduce Palladino but he wisely opted for Marchisio.

This is going to be a tough game, especially without Zanetti and Giannichedda.

IMO, we should keep the 4-4-2 formation, the new players still need a bit more time before we can start using different formations.

So who should be our centeral midfield paring, I think Nedved and Paro would be a good choice, but Nedved will have to hold off from going forward too much, as he needs to cover the defenders.

Marchionni can play on the left wing, Camoranesi on the right.

As for the right-back, I would go for Balzaretti. Sure Birindelli is more experienced, but he gives away too many chances, and without Zanetti to cover for his mistakes we could be in for a lot of trouble.

My formation:

-----------------------Buffon--------------------------------
Balza-------Kovac-----------Boumsong-------Chiellini---

Camo---------Nedved--------Paro-----------Marchionni--

-----------------Del Piero--------Trezeguet----------------

My prediction: It may be a tough game, but we should still be able to get the full 3points, but we won't impress.

1-0
Trezeguet will probably score from a setpiece.

Nedved as a central midfielder :disagree:

Then he should gave him at least half an hour instead of 5 minutes.

And DD doesn´t neccesarily have to play with 2 Central Midfielders.

And BTW. Marchisio already played in Coppa Italia.
