Agreed, Criscito was great today, but Boumsong wasn't (as) terrible as usual.

Chiellini and Zebina are both coming off injuries, I think? Zebina isn't the greatest of fullbacks either. We really need a RB if we get promoted.

The ref was unfair but the draw was the correct result, I thought.

I hope we get Criscito back, but that's just based off this one match. As for the other guys...Birindelli has been average, Kovac - injured a lot, Boumsong - ka-boom!, Camoranesi - really good for us, except today when I thought he was average.

yep agree with you... about boumsong he wasnt as bad and i agree but we keep conciding goals in which directly or indirectly he is always involved negatively, today he wasnt positioned good... about wing backs i dont think chiellini and zebina are the best in the world but just they are the best we have, definetely i cant see birindelli playing anymore, about the result it was more than fair we never deserved to win today, about criscito i dont even want to think that we lose him ( i admit i only saw him today but there has been praise for this guy for a long time so i think he is rather conistent) .. and about the players we mentioned kovac just had a bad day today, and camoranesi likewise otherwise i really like him as a player ...

:agree: And he did save that mistake Buffon made. He also had a couple of chances, so he played pretty good, just a couple of sloppy mistakes:tdown:
i think boumsong would be a great backup to other regular central defenders, but he cant be our first central defender if we want to return at least among the top 4 in italy

:agree: but..

Turning to the January transfer market, Cobolli Gigli insisted that the Old Lady would not be shopping after Christmas.

“There will be no new arrivals and nobody will leave,” he added. “There will be no buys or sales. We will return to Serie A with our present squad.

Hopefully by then he'll be amazing!:p

i dont think we need any players for the serie b .. but mistakes have been maked and boumsong and criscito are some of these mistakes... so for this january our beloved president and managment better start thinking for an eventual serie a, id like to see players liek criscito, barzagli, montolivo and other ITALIAN AND NOT FRENCH players in our squad

Upon checking...Criscito has always been a Genoa player, Juventus co-signed him in 2004 according to Wikipedia. I don't understand why there won't be any January signings. The board better be preparing for something big...

Well, reading your replies I'll have to say that I might be wrong about Nedved's red card and he did in fact deserved it (I guess I didn't see it clear (the quality of online stream was pretty poor)), but I still think that there was no penalty and the goal should've been allowed. And the foul on Nedved (just b4 the red card) also happened.

Ah, well, at least we're still unbeaten and now we have played away against almost all the strong sides at Serie B - Napoli, Piacenza and Genoa; so the next games against them will be at the Communale. Strong sides we still have to play away with them are Brescia and Bologna. I believe it is possible to beat the s**t out of them.

reporter to Camoranesi after the game:

How does it feel when you still hear the opposite's team fans scream at you that you are cheaters....

Camo: "I'll make a comment that some people won't enjoy. It's strange that fans of a club who had a manager found with a bag full of cash would dare making comments like that".

    Bravo Mauro!!!

    Not really about the match:

    I LOVE CAMORANESI

    Post match interview:

He says he was upset, cause before entering the field he thought he was really fit, but then he didn't succeed in expressing it during the match and he was really sorry that because of this he penalized the team.

Then he was asked: "How does it feel to be still called 'thieves' in the stadiums?"

A: "Oh, we don't notice it anymore. Can I say something, though? Genoani should only shut up, cause there was actually found proof -a bag full of money- of matches fixed by them".

At this point everyone remained still for a moment, really embarassed.

Then Ciro Ferrara (who was in the post match show) asked about the tricks camo tried and failed tonight and about this and that player who created him (Camo) problems.

Mauro: "Yeah, yeah, I know. You know what? I was missing the Reggio Calabria's wing". Said this he starts laughing.

At that point Ciro explains that in a Nt training in reggio Calabria he (Ciro) was asked to take part to the training match and played in the team opposed to Camo's one. Camo made him suffer so much that, at a point, he (Ciro) had to start calling for help. While Ciro explained, Camo kept on laughing.

So, at the end of the interview, Ciro joked that it was a good thing Mauro was wearing a hat, 'cause the hair underneat are more a helmet than hair, they're a mess. Mauro; "Yeah, yeah, but the hat is to preserve my intelligence". Laughed and went away.

I love Camo, other than for what he does on the field of course, for his spirit outside of it. He's *always* like this. He's always brutally honest, even more so if what he has to say is not politically correct, so to say. How many others would have had the balls firstly to say themselves they didn't have a great match and then to talk about Genoa and its bag? No one, let me tell you.

Genoa was relegated to C1 (from B) 2 years ago aftert having found proof of matches fixed by them. The bag full of cash (100.000 €, if I remember well) would be the proof.

I knew we bought him from Genoa and then sold half of him back to them this year. Very bright, I have to say, also because it was well known that Criscito was probably the best youngster we had. In the last 2 years Capello made him train with the first team and had him in our CL lists.

Btw, tonight Criscito said (*twice*) he'd prefer remaining to Genoa, because of the tifosi, blah blah blah.
    he's on free co-ownership.

    I have another one! :D

Gigi, during the match, had another shirt under his jersey. When one of the mediaset journalists asked him if he had got fatter/bigger he answered:

"I started to spend more time in the gym, but God forbid! Don't tell zeman!" :D
