My only regret, well apart from conceding so soon after taking the lead and Nedved's sending off, is not having the luxary of having a fully fit team when facing Napoli and Genoa.

It wasn't a straight red he received 2 yellows. He stepped on the guys ankle and the ref showed him a red and then there was a huge crowd and the game just ended. Nice goal but:)

I don't think that red was justified! I do think that the foul ON Nedved a few moments b4 that was much harsher! grrrrrrr

we are just not strong enough if 5 or 6 important players are missing. It is hard to play against teams that give 150% and have the game of the year against us every week.

but if he received two yellows, the bitch would've shown him a yellow and then the red..

nedved had a yellow, and then he gave him a straight red after that..

He was, that's why he was so pissed..

If this was a country with a civilised court system, I would demand an appeal at the very least, but this is Italy.. why waste our time? It's obviously run with monkeys donning pirelli tracksuits..

The ref was not that good tonight.
In my opinion the penalty we suffered was not a penalty. I saw the replay and I wasn't convinced it was a PK. Refs ignored quite a good number of throw ins and corners that should've been awarded to us, along side strange fouls.
Ofcourse that doesn't justify our poor display. Genoa played a very good game. Maoro's passes were really bad, nedved disappeared for awhile then popped out again. Ofcourse our deffense was as terrible as they can ever be. Tonight Buffon proved once again why he should've received the awarded rather than Cannavaro.. I really wanted us to win, just for Gigi to keep a clean sheet this match because he deserved it.

Tough match, good to watch but obviously not the result I'd been hoping for. Tonight was Gigi's night, apart from him, Camo was all right, and Neddy of course with the goal. I didn't like what I saw of Bojinov - it seemed like he wasted a lot of decent scoring chances. Palla looked good on the ball but consistently mishit the crosses. Our midfield was a bit overrun, though I'm willing to chalk it up to youth and give them more chances. Not like there's another option. Defense was defense...as usual, we need to fix that.

And Criscito did well for Genoa. Is he on loan or co-owned?

    anyway,

Palladino owned today, too bad nobody helped him in front today. Defense was horrible. Birindelli should retire. Kovac and Boumsong made my pressure go up. Farina sucked.

I think we won a point there. Genoa are a good team, the stadium was full and the pressure high. With some key players (our premium attack and 2 of our game destroyers) missing this is ok, not good but ok. Our young players have to go through such situations to learn. Still we didn't lose. Live goes on.

Think positive! We managed not to lose all the big games away so far in spite of having serious injury problems. When we face this teams at home with our full squad we are in good position to win the big points and the top of the table.
