Ahh , sweet revenge , good job lads, here is the match report from channel4.com

Juventus 2-0 Mantova

Juventus are mathematically assured the top spot in Serie B with their 28th victory. This was meant to be a celebration of the promotion Juve secured last week, but with reports of Didier Deschamps tending his resignation, there was tension in the Stadio Olimpico. Mantova were still in the running for the play-offs and one of only two sides to beat the Bianconeri this season. Trezeguet failed to make the most of two early Del Piero assists before goalkeeper Brivio parried both Zebina’s solo effort and the captain’s follow-up. Boumsong’s volley into the ground bounced over the bar and Brivio also saved Del Piero’s backheel flick from a corner kick.
The deadlock was broken on 55 minutes, as Del Piero combined with Balzaretti and Trezeguet got away from Sacchetti to nod in. Doga’s aim left a lot to be desired and Juventus managed to double their lead through Nedved’s fantastic dummy and chip.
Scorers: Trezeguet 55 (J), Nedved 73 (J)
Juventus: Buffon; Zebina (Birindelli 81), Boumsong, Chiellini, Balzaretti; Marchionni (Palladino 76), Marchisio, Zanetti, Nedved; Del Piero, Trezeguet (Zalayeta 80)
Mantova: Brivio; Sacchetti, Notari, Cristante, Rizzi (Franchini 20); Tarana, Brambilla, Doga (Avanzini 83), Grauso (Graziani 66), Spinale; Noselli

FORZA JUVE!!! Officially Serie B champs (as if there was any doubt).

You can sense the tension coming fro the DD drama that's happening. I wish they would hurry along & resolve this for the sake of the players. I'm sure nobody on the team likes that huge question mark over their heads regarding the issue.

great game we played today and nice to see the boys working hard for DD even when promotion is already secured. My ratings:

Buffon - 6.5 - Didnt do anything and the clean sheet was ours, this is how it should be

Balzaretti - 7 - did well defensively and offensively, brilliant assist on trezeguet, hes a big player for us, if rumours are true he'll be a big loss. had a moment of insanity when he was dribbling in our penalty area but he got away with it.

Zebina - 8 - fantastic game, his best all season and hes had a great season. Looks nothing like the clumsy defender we one saw at roma, got forward and joined in the attack whenever he could and they simply couldnt handle his mazy runs.... cant believe i just said that and am being serious!

Boum - 6.5 - solid performance, our rock at the back, not called to work for his bread much today but when he was needed he was there, performed some impressive tackles as well

Chiellini - 6.5 - considering hes playing out of position he had a good game, also did not need to do too much work.

Nedved - 7.5 - these impressive performances from nedved are just standard thses days, controlled the game in the early stages of first half, went quite for a little while but popped up with a fantastic goal, hes the inspiration behind the team and hes been our player of the season without question.

Marchionni - 8 - his best performance of the season so far, always a threat down the right and constantly caused defensive headaches for the opposition. his runs were superb and his determination was inspirational as he chased onto his own miscontrol/touch forward to cross into the box and was then at the centre of some of the best passing interchange i have seen all season. just shows that when hes given a run in the team he is able to produce.

Marchisio & Zanetti - 7 - these two operate as a unit and are developing a great understanding with each other, zanetti is able to bring out the best in marchisio. Solid in the middle and got into good positions to offer team mated options.

Del Piero - 6.5 - not a great performance from the captain today, looked a bit out of sorts and didnt get much of the ball, his pass to set balza up for the cross for treze's goal was pure quality though.

Trezeguet - 7 - hes back in the goals and looking like a threat again, brilliant header on the goal from an equally brilliant cross and his touch and volley later on looked to be heading goalwards untill it was blocked off. hes turned his season around with his last few performances, i hope he stays with us, we'll really need him next year

Biri - 6 - played a decent game, not on long enough to really analyse
palla - 6 - as above and out of position
zala - 6 - looked pretty decent, had a few good touches, do we really need this guy though??

DD - 7.5 - Motivated his players very well for todays game which effectively meant nothing - or were the players motivated by the speculation and showing they dont want him to leave?? it will be sad to see him go, and im disgusted by his treatment especially because he really cares about the club, whereas crapello didnt give a shit and still recieved the backing which DD never had. Hes got the potential to be a really good coach, i hope he fulfills it, with us or with another team............
