Luckily for Trezeguet an offside was called, because he missed an open net from 2 meters.

Another chance, but Diego shoots over the cross bar.

We have, probably, around 80% possession.

Offsides call on Trezeguet. That was actually a good low cross by Molinaro.

Most of the action is happening on the left side, with Molinaro and De Ceglie.

If that gives you any idea of what we are looking at

Diego shoots way wide and off target.

We seem to be getting closer to Siena's goal but we are not threatening.

The difference in quality is obvious by the ease that we have to regain possession but the similarity in quality to create chances is just too much for my likings.

We're playing a 4-3-1-2 with lots of width. De Ceglie is playing as a clear LM while Poulsen as a clear RM.
So we have Moli and De Ceglie on the left side and Grygera+Poulsen on the right, with Melo and Diego in the center, one behind the other.

Poulsen playing on the right and crossing, finally one of his balls reach Amauri who is heavily marked in the box.

Siena wants us to score. There can't be any other explanation why do they literally gift the ball to us.

Vergassola deflected Diego's cross and luckily for them it went straight to Curci. If it was deflected 1 meter left or right it would've been an own goal.
