It's absolutely fantastic seeing our own player own our own midfield, if that sounds right.

Hope it happens more frequently and to a greater degree. It's so sensical.
funny you mention that.

Remember Giovinco owning us when we played Empoli in coppa 2 years ago? we were all excited about him playing for us like that. Poor guy is rotting on the bench now.

hope Ekdal has a better fate with us.
If people want Ranieri back they need to have their heads checked. At least the formation we use fits the players.

But squandering our youth players is good for Juventus.
Sweet guys, loan bashing without me? wtf

Forza our young guns and may their squandered youth repay them in the future with a club that cares about them.

But loaning is a good thing, Cam. Anything that destroys talent and hurts Juventus is good for Juventus. This is 1984 and people are going to like it.

I guess if you look at it from a financial standpoint it benefits the league as well...giving useless teams our bright young stars only to watch them turning into shooting stars fading quickly and quietly into the abyss also saves the league money.

It's exactly like the matrix...big teams are the growing fields of humans only to give them up at the benefit of the machines.....

Ekdal would make it. He is a not so flashy, defensive midfielder who doesn't do too much offensively. That's right up Juve's alley.

If you're a good offensive winger like Giovinco, Robben or Ribery then you're not welcome unless you'd be willing to change into a trequartista.

Forza Italia and defense.
not even that, Young players in general don't have much chance with Juve.

the only reason Marchisio was successful is because he got a lucky break nd grew with the chances he got. It helped thay Zanetti was injured most of the time, Poulsen was injured/horrible alot and Sissoko got injured for a while.

If those things did not happen Marchisio would not be a starter in this Juve.

Exactly...he grew at others pain. But regardless, he was given time and from that he grew into one of the hottest prospects on the market. You would think that thye would give Gio a chance given the hype around him.

Ugh, frustrating I hate talking about this.

I'm not so sure. Except Diego, I don't see how this formation fits our players.
And today's formation is a story of its own. At certain parts of the match we played 4-1-3-2 with bloody Poulsen as a MR. For the entire first half Poulsen played like a winger.

Giovinco is roting on the bench. If the squad was rotated and Ferrara wanted to rest some players, why did Diego play and not Giovinco?

Juve won away from home: a good result.

Yes every team they play close up the midfield because they know Juve have no wing option.

Keep going and in January buy an attacking left back and a winger.

If the 4-3-1-2 doesn't fit us, what does? We don't have wingers, have a glut of strikers and Diego. All indications are that the 4-3-1-2 is the best fit for us, despite the crappy fullbacks.

The 4-2-3-1 is the only other option.

If we play well with flat lines then a 4-3-3 would do us good but this means automatically dropping Diego.
