I'm happy with the 3 points, but almost furious at the way we got them.
We weren't great in the midweek game but at least we showed some promise, leading me to believe we were once again on the right path. Today's lethargic, almost ludicrous performance ruined it for me. Where is the famous Juventus grinta? Hell, we are barely running most of the times.
Personally, I haven't been this unexcited about the team since before we went down to Serie B, aka the Capello era & more specifically his 2nd season.
Buffon 6,5 - Not that much to do, great when called upon.
Grygera 5 - At times painful to watch, no blunders though.
Legrottaglie 6 - I think he did fine overall, but I know he can do better.
Chiellini 6,5 - Maybe a bit reckless but he is enjoying a fine spell at the moment. Maybe even our best player of the season so far.
Molinaro 5,5 - As clumsy as ever but you can't fault his defensive work.
Poulsen 4,5 - Crap 1st half, slightly better 2nd. A lot (most?) of the blame here goes to Ciro though for using him in the wrong way.
Melo 5 - Didn't deliver as far as I'm concerned. Pissed away a shitload of balls, looked out of sync with the rest of the team. Not that much work on the defensive side either.
De Ceglie 6 - Promising 1st half, quiet 2nd. I don't think he's ever gonna be a "great" player though.
Diego 5,5 - Thanks for the assist. Other than that things didn't go his way.
Amauri 5,5 - Thanks for the goal. Other than that he was pretty bad. That shot from 20 metres out was about the saddest thing of the entire game.
Trezeguet 5 - Not a good game. But we all know what he's good at & I don't think we're using him in the right way. Every time I see him on the flanks or in the middle of the park building up play I get angry. Props to him for helping out but that's not doing us any good.
Caceres 5,5 - Surprisingly assured at the back. Today he was an improvement over Grygera.
Camoranesi 5 - Very little input.

I really don't feel like rating these games. The last month has been a series of under-performances.
Teams in the lower sect of the division clam up and park a bus in front of goal. That is when we need players like camo/gio to help diego unlock the plethora of bodies parked in front of goal. I can see rotating the squad, that I am fine with but I think he rotated too many players.

Required result, shit play. No excuse for this nonsense with the personnel we have. Ferrara keeps persisting with the two target man strikers and it is a complete waste of a player. I don't know why we have to keep playing like this. I predict he will play Melo, Sissoko, Poulsen and De Ceglie all at the same time against Samp.

Definitely we got very precious 3 points on pocket although a below par performance,but who care as long as we gets 3 points.

If he has got something that is going to turn our team of quality into a team of winners, and by that something I mean a philosophy, it will take time to implement, but do fans want to wait even longer before we start winning trophies?
I would love to see a young manager perfect a winning formula here. It's up to Ciro.
Amauri has been given a chance more than David has , he netted the goal ,i thanked him but he should have done better and stop being a selfish player,David had no really support to him and never had a chance at least to shot a ball , but Amauri had several wasted chance tonight.
it's okay , a discussion about him isn't really needed here , i just hope we get all of our best players back and leave this frustrating period as soon as possible.
