I've watched enough matches of him to conclude that. Yes, he had a decent game last sunday: it just doesn't change the fact his abilities on the ball are poor. He's more of an hardworking player. So saying, in his case, that he's great is a bit misplaced.

Also, I didn't say we should have '10 Zidane'.

Edit: I'm not saying being hardworking and being a good footballer are exclusive to each other. It's just that in Pepe's case it is. It's the only thing he excels in.

I know that:

He's not a good crosser of the ball. He's not a good passer. He looses possession a lot. He can't beat his man.

He also certainly does more wrong on average in a single game than good. It's stupid to rate him only because of a single action he does here and there. And I never was impressed by him when he was in Udinese.

This year i want to beat small teams like Siena,Bologna,Catania i don't care alot about big teams like Milan , from top 3 we mut beat Inter .

To be fair, I'll concede the fact that his set pieces are decent and that he can be at some extent useful for his hardwork and runs because this way he can make defenders tired, but that's about it.

if you have two fast wingers, their backs are to scared to attack because if they lose the ball they are doomed. if you are dominate you have to play two attackers wingers to creat space and add creativity.
so we can play elia and krasic both in many games and put pepe where he belongs.

agreed about beating the small teams and inter who are on there way to becoming a small team ( specially napoli and palermo!!), although there is a lot of pleasure in trashing milan, and roma but i can live with a draw in there games no worries provided we get full points agaisnt the smaller teams.
