In an very weak league with very little competition until now. We had several poor performances our football was very one dimensional with little creativity and having to rely on an ageing Pirlo to be our main creative spark who when man marked was invisible in the bigger games in Europe.

If u are happy with winning Serie A playing against weak teams then thats good for u but it's not good enough for me and i will never accept being the best in a shit league when our ambitions should always be to have a strong season in Europe as thats where the improvements to the team will show the most.

Europe should always be our priority every season as winning Serie A evey season can only get u so far.

This isn't the 1990's any more, Serie A means nothing compared to what it used to be. Dont tell me i know "little about this club and it's past" when u have no idea how much i know. Pirlo is no longer important in this team. If anything I would say Barzagli is 100x more important to this team and pirlo has played the last 2 games and we have looked like $#@! in both.

A 3-5-2 without a proper deep lying playmaker is a formation without creativity. Until last season he was a main player. The fact that marchisio covered for him in small matches when he was injured does not mean the team doesnt depend on him. His creativity is still unrivaled.

Pirlo just returned from injury and has not got his form back.

It is so clear that Llorente is in terrible form and Giovinco is showing promise every time he gets a run. I want to see Tevez Start with Giovinco on Wednesday night.. Vidal Pogba and Marchisio should be the midfield right now also

Tevez and Marchisio was in an amazing form so Pirlos absence (and Llorentes terrible form) wasnt felt.

Pirlo (when on form and 100% fit) still is important for the team. i agree with Hist on this. however, at the moment, Marchisio has a great run of top performances so its hard to ignore him. he is one of our best performers this season. curently he is ahead of Pirlo (rightfuly) but that may change during the season (injuries, form).

also, id like to see more of a 4 man backline in the coming matches. no one can convince me that a defense of Evra/Asa-Chiellini-Bonucci/Ogbonna-Licht cant handle mid/low table serie a teams. and when Barzagli is back i would make a permanent switch to a 4-3-2-1. it would give more playing time to Coman (and Pereyra/Gio) and would make up for the lack of creativity that brings not playing Pirlo. i have a feeling that the Marchisio-Pogba-Vidal midfield would be even better in a 4-3-2-1 with Tevez/Coman - Pereyra/Gio and Llorente/Morata infront

Consigli really saved them,typical of smaller teams GK when playing against us suddenly they become 5 times the player they usually are,watch him play back to his standard level next match.. this was hard to take,we really needed the win..

he was laughable against Inter, let in at least 3 ridicolous goals whilst played like good old Jascin on saturday night

The day has come where a player that ranges from mediocre to above average like marchisio is claimed to be a better regista than the all time great Pirlo who was still world class only a few months ago. This is worse than saying Ogbonna is more important to Juve than Barzagli.

If Pirlo and Vidal do not recover form then that blame should be shouldered by Allegri.
