Im glad we are continuing in the right path and maintaining our 100% record whereas the other teams are struggling from match to match. We have now won three matches in Serie A with a total 8-0 scoreline, which is really impressive to say the least.

Our defence is rock solid led by the partnership of Thuram and Cannavaro, whereas the midfield engine is well oiled by Emerson and Blasi and is linking well between defence and offence. Nedved is maintaining his great form of last season despite his Euro2004 knee injury. Our strikers are also cynical with all of them scoring a goal each against Sampdoria: Del Piero, Ibrahimovic, and Trezeguet.

I think our sparkling form is a result of our better fitness levels than the other teams thanks to our pre-season Champions League qualifiers. Also, Capello enjoyed choosing players from a full squad with everyone fit and ready to play and no serious injuries reported. The rotation policy between our 3 strikers also left each and every one of them hungry for more action and more goals which is what it required from strikers. Last season Del Piero and Trezeguet where pretty much assured of a starting place by Lippi despite how bad their form was. Whereas Capello is keeping everyone on their toes.

I hope our run continues with more wins and solid displays.

I dont want to ruin our mood, but i'm still not convinced that the defense is rock solid or as good as our results show. I don't like this false sense of security. I hope the defenders don't let it get to their heads.

Besides the weakened Zlatan-less Ajax, we didn't play against great offensive teams. I'm glad that Canna Thuram have added some speed -something we've lacked last year- to the central defense, but I don't think it's water-tight yet.

I hope tis lineup doesn't get hit with injuries. The games are every couple of days so i'm worrying about an early burn-out. Take a look at the fixtures and you'll see very tough back to back serie A matches in late October/Early November including a couple CL games vs. Bayern Munich.

I hope Cappello has a plan to rest the players durring early October, even if it means loosing some points here and there. The subs are good enough to compete. From now till the end of the first week of October, the team should be able to develope a sufficient understanding with each other.

I don't like the fact that Legro and Tudor aren't getting much playing time by this time. Also, I really don't like it how Nedved is playing every game while nursing a knee injury. He should be benched vs the smaller teams. Olivera is good enough to compete at the highest level. If we need Nevded, he could always be brought on as a sub.

I beg to differ. Thuram and Cannavaro are playing extremely well and are receiving rave reviews from reporters and followers alike. I'm sure Inter are regretting exchanging Cannavaro with Carini, he is playing to his peak and is finally showing his international form with Italy in club level.

There are no longer stupid mistakes (Legro, Montero!!) like last season. Our opponents now hardly threat Buffon and if they did, he is always alert to deflect any danger away from goal. It is true that we have faced relatively small teams but I bet Sampdoria, Brescia, and Atalanta would have caused us more problems against our squad of last season.

True.. there's no doubt that the defense is way better than last season, but i think it's over-hypped.

Look at the standings of each of the 3 serie A teams we've faced! Between them all (9 games or 6 excluding the juve game) they've managed to get 1 point in total!

You even mentioned a point that can be looked at in two ways. Juve are in better physical shape because we've started earlier. Will the results be just as impressive when the rest of the teams catch up to our physical level in the next month or so?! How will this affect us at the end of the season?

Again, i'm not doubting the quality in this side compared to last season's, but I still think the results are inflated to a point where it migh tbe misleading in the run up to bigger games.

On the contrary, I think the recent results will give the players and coach confidence in the big matches. Mental strength is very important in football, in order to win a match you first need to believe that you can win it.

But I agree, the teams we played against aren't that strong but take for example Atalanta. We won comfortably against them whereas Inter needed to sweat and struggled to win their match. Even though Inter were favourites ahead of us to win the Scudetto with all the star players they signed during the summer. But we have a solid squad that gelled in perfectly and play as a unit, even though with probably more hard work and less creativity.

I wouldn't call the Atalanta win comfortable. and I don't see Juve's performances as any better than Inter, except in the defensive and physical departments. Inter create a lot of chanes in their game. The two goals we scored vs. Atalanta are more on the lucky side than the team-work side.

We may be solid, but what I'm trying to say is that the best this team could do may not be good enough. I hope I'm wrong on this feeling and I hope we continue to improve.

I truely admire your optimism though.

the way it's been going, many may think that we've been walking all over our opponents.but our performances haven't been much better than that of some of our rivals,to be honest.all our opponents have been relegation candidates this season,i don't see all the fuss since juve always pick up points against small teams.

i'd like to see the team against some quality opposition.
