I didn't see the Perugia game but the newspapers gave Conte, along with Nedved and Zambrotta, the best marks of the Juve players.

Conte is playing very well so I like seeing him in the current formation. Obviously this is not a permanent thing, but probably till Camo/Appiah regain their real form back.

Conte can still play well, and he showed that in the CL final, where IMO he was one of our best outfield players. I hope he does well, for his sake and the team's

is miccoli injured or something, and whats wrong with camoranasi i'd far rather see one of dem than appiah.
Miccoli can't play the midfield role that Appiah plays, and Camoranesi clearly isn't in form.

To be honest though, Camo hasn't been given much chance lately, and when he was, he did very well (Lecce). I think it's more cos Lippi does not want to have too much of an open team against a good Sampdoria side...at least this way it's a more covered Juve side.

Tacchinardi, Thuram, Legrottaglie and Davids are the absentees.

    This is gazzetta's probable line-up:

    Buffon
    Birindelli Ferrara Iuliano Zambrotta
    Conte Appiah Maresca
    Nedved
    Trezeguet Del Piero
    my preferred line up:

    Buffon
    Biri Ferrara Montero Zambo
    Miccoli Appiah Maresca
    Nedved
    Trez Del

And have Di Vaio and Camo ready at any moment to spicen up the attack.

That's too offensive ;) Maybe if Tacchinardi was there instead of Maresca, then maybe but not with Maresca and Miccoli in midfield.
