Well, well. I watched the match drunk so that may have been why I, in contradiction to the lot of you gloryhunters and crybabies enjoyed watching it. Imagine if we had drawn, we'd be playing vs Milan knowing that the gap could be 5 points with 9 games to go, while everyone said the title race was decided right after the win to Inter away.
We had our two best attackers outruled. We were facing a side that beat our main title contenders in the third round of the campaign. We are under heavy pressure in the CL come Tuesday, and I bet a lot of minds were there already. Despite all this, we pulled 3 points out of a fairly good Serie A side. It can't be all that bad.
I'm proud of this team winning away to Roma, Fiorentina, Inter, Sampdoria and Palermo. 23 4 1. What the hell is there more to be wishing for? 28 0 0 and 11 Ronaldinhos will never happen, you know.
Sure thing there's been moments when we've played disastrous this season, and right there's where a pinch of negative but healthy criticism fit in.
Obviously we all became Juventini when we were younger because the team was successful most of the time, no need denying that. Now reading your posts, makes me wonder where the official Alessandro Del Piero spokesperson on the internet and the rest of you would be if we'd finnish up 6:th or 7:th 3 to 4 seasons in a row. Not on this forum, that's for sure.
