Yeah I know but in a way that’s weak management. I have to agree our summer transfer campaign was a disaster, not in terms of players bought but players lost. When you replace Alves with De Sciglio and don’t replace your best and most unique CB then you’re asking for trouble.

I still dont get it with the Rotation Max used. Our defense is leaking and yet Max rotate it often.
For this tricky schedule, he plays Asa and Licht. Because DS will be play against Barca and A. Sandro is rested after Brazil friendly. Our defense need to gel and Max need to play the units frequently

I dont see another team rotate as much as us do.
Napoli keep playing Hysaj and Ghoulam (now he is injured). Roma with Florenzi and Kolarov. Even in EPL, you can see Man City keep playing Delph and Walker although they have Danilo. Barca even play Semedo and Alba last night when they have better cover than us in Digne and Vidal

For Cuad and Pjanic, there are news they are slightly injured before the match. And yet they still play. Although we have better cover there in Marchisio/Matuidi and D. Costa/Dybala.

no shit. the goal was never 1st place, the goal is to progress to the KO stage, which 2nd place is more than enough for. also, avoiding all 3 of Barcelona, Real and Bayern in the process makes finishing 2nd even better for us tbh

I remember exactly same moment in the season last year. When we were winning but playing like shit - of course we didnt leak so many goals,but we were playing bad - everyone wanted to sack Allegri (including me) and look how it tutned. Hoping for exactly the same this year. Max's teams usually get top form in the second part of the season and it will probably happen again. The only problem is that we seem to have a strong competition this year, but imo Napoli will collapse too.
