Camoranesi is out for a long time.
I think a 3 man midfield is A MUST against Roma coz they have the strongest midfield in Serie a.

Two FUCKING months. I just saw the news. This is depressing.

Now we have to play a 4-3-3 because we don't have right midfielders anymore.

Is Mancini back for Roma?
I saw him on the bench yesterday.
Imagine this Roma has(De rossi,Perotta,Aquialanni,Giuly,Taddei & Mancini )in midfield & we have(Nedved ,Zanetti,Nocerino,Tiago & Almiron)!
It is just not fair, but I still think we can get out with a point,

a spanking for us is in the horizon i fear
 I have some fears for this game but to be honest, you can never know what to expect from a team coached by Ranieri. Let´s hope for another big dose of luck and this time maybe we see a decent refereeing. Roma is good, maybe the best team currently in Italy, but playing against them is not impossible.

6-0 roma. we are shit.
 How ironical. Last season a lot of forum members predicted silly big wins for Juve, not it´s reverse?

Ale isn't liked by the Roma defenders, Mexes, Cufre... always high tension when he plays against them.
..And I hate these two! Cufre is a thug!

That's because they're Materazzi type of defenders.
Even Materazzi is not as bad as Cufre, and that's saying something!

 Re line up.

I hope the tests on Tuesday shows that Camo's injury to be not as serious as we fear. Hopefully Brazzo and Grygera will be back.

I think Mancini will be fit for the game against us. I think he was on the bench yeaterday because he wasn't fit enough to last the full 90 minutes.

i hope Ranieri goes for something different in this game maybe a 433..Even if we lose at least we would've tried something new, trying to rectify the team after two under par performances .

After Camo's injury , I hope to see something like this :

    ............. Nocerino...... ...Zanetti .................

    ............Palladino.................................... Nedved

    .............................................. Alex ..............

    ........................... Treze

I would love to see Palladino get his chance .

we should start with tiago. he must prove now that he is worth the money.. now or never.
almiron must sit on the bench ,he lost his form... i just hope not to see iaquinta. so we better play a 4 2 2.
this is a very important game not only because it's against roma but also because we lost the game against udinese and can't lose two games in a row. this would be really depressive for the squad.
also we have really big big problems (camo's injury, and missing some quality players) we should not fear roma.
we can beat them also in stadio olimpico.

well lets not forget that roma have the CL game midweek lets hope that takes a lot out of them.

i think a key for beating them is just immense pressure on their midfield to break down the supply to the forwards, so lets hope we play a 433 so we have at least equal numbers in the midfield

Yeah, the performance by Roma in the next CL game is key to show us,how strong they are...Yes,they are stronger than us,but how strong.?and therefore,I hope Ranieri could somehow cover their strength by fielding the best formation and try to cover our weaknesses with the right players in the right position, and thats not by playing Nocerino on the wing,If neither Zdenek or Sali are available,I would rather play Molinaro at that right back,i know his left footed but that may just work...

And I thought Nedved was great when he had all that energy in the first half, running everywhere and controlling that left flank, and once he was getting tired,he lost that aggressiveness and was really slow..Thats why i think we should try to bench him,and he can come in in the second half, because when we are going all out to attack,I really think we need Nedved with all his energy..

I say this formation may work,Roma played something like 4-3-3 against Reggina,I think their weakness are at the back, and with Doni i think is injured,Curci can be a weakspot..however their midfield and forwards are pacey and very tricky,I really am scared of using Birindelli...

    I would try this

    ----------------------------Buffon--------------------------------------

Molinaro(if Sali/Zdnek are unavailable) Criscito Andrade Chiellini

    -----------------------------Zanetti------------------------------------

    ------------------Nocerino/Almiron----Tiago------------------------

    Iaquinta-------------------------------------------------------Del Piero

They are playing 4-2-3-1 always...And Doni is not injured anymore,he`ll play in CL also probably.

I think that even if it is not a complete tare in the muscle he will be out for at least 2 to 4 weeks but if there is a tare in the muscle, then it will be in the range of 2 months:confused: !
I think this is our biggest blow this season, for me alongside Buffon camo is the most important player in this team,he is the only player in our midfield right now who can make smthing from nothing.

First game of he year where we are the real underdogs. Could that prove helpful?

I know the team is eager to prove a point and shine in Roma, but this will be a very difficult match. I'm hoping for some psychological effect, but I'd happy with a draw.
