Why is everyone on Padoin's back? Yeah, he's not great, we know that. He's also not the reason we're dropping points lately.

Why is everyone on Padoin's back? Yeah, he's not great, we know that. He's also not the reason we're dropping points lately.
Unlike Padoin and Peluso however he's proven himself in a World Cup and Copa America campaign... Okay, his performance last night wasn't his best, in fact, it was one of his more disappointing ones. However, Chiello can compensate for the lack of a decent LWB, Caceres isn't as good as Chiello in his primary position (CB/LCB) and is being compromised as with Asamoah departure we are weak on our left. Unlike Peluso, Caceres only contributed to letting in one goal, and it wasn't even really all his fault (fault can be attributed, in varying degrees to Bonucci, Buffon and Vucinic also).
Its been a while since I've had a rant on here, this will be short and sweet....
Our first concern is the fact that we are missing a Trez-type of striker, who will guarantee you goals. The frail little Giovinco, the inconsistent Quags, and the cursed Matri do not guarantee goals. Mirko is our only reliable striker, and he's definitely not 100% right now
Second, some of our backups are just not good enough. Caceres, Padoin, and DC aren't able to fill in for the starters. The jury is still out on Isla, and we'll see what Peluso can do. If we sold any of the three that I mentioned, I doubt anyone here would lose any sleep....
We need a top of the line striker NOW !!! If we are going to make any effort to win the CL, and even retain the Scudetto, we need to spend whatever is necessary to make that happen. I would take out a loan to get the money available to get Cavani...he is the answer to our needs. If not, I would sign Llorente ASAP !! We may lose some money now, but we risk losing out on titles this season.
I am sick of seeing us struggle to beat opponents who we are clearly better than, but seem to always be lacking goals to finish them off.
