I recommend you to watch the replay of that incident, he didn't anticipate it and it shouldn't have gone past the defenders.
How many times do you see strikers get one chance a game and still bury the ball in the net? Our strikers need a zillion chances to convert. So many easy sitters missed this season.

It's ridiculous now.

Why is everyone crying about the strikers?

What striker would have made a difference in the last two league matches?

If the entire team behind the two isolated strikers can't string together 2 passes or launch atleast a bearable counterattack then it's just natural that the strikers can't do jack.
So who do we blame when we wanq chance after chance to be able to kill teams off before they even get a chance to equalise. We got a striker or what ever that was in the summer Bendtner. We need a game changer up front. Someone that makes that difference.

It's either that or switch back to 4-3-3

That makes close to no sense. We're going to be playing 2 games a week during that period, and CL games against sides like Celtic (English football) are intense. If anything, that's when we'll be at our physical worst.
Actually it makes a lot of sense , make a very strong physical preparation in january so that when the most important part of the season starts , you are at top shape . Same thing happened last year at this period , we started with draws and when the condition peaked we skyrocketed . The whole point of the physical preparation was to be in top shape when we face celtic

That daffodil mushty played quite well against us. Kind of reminded me of Dzeko.
It's belfodil :) , and he resembles more benzema , at least that's the general opinion

:agree: he's just trying to cool the sure onslaught of media biatches that are going to stir up some sort of crisis scenario.

We are obviously not playing with hunger or maybe they are but they are no where near they're usual fitness level. They look tired and not focused when it comes to positioning on the counter. It's been 3 games now where even a child can see the 3 man defence is not working at all with out chiellini and asa. It's no coincidence all 3 goals against us in the last 2 league games came down the middle left side of the field. It's time to go to a 4 man defence IMO atleast until asa and chiellini come back.

Another thing I noticed is the absolute lack of chances we are creating and I am comparing this to the amount we usually have. This is where Conte, Pirlo, Buffon are needed to step $#@! up and get the team focused again. We all know January is a terrible month of Juve so kes leave it at that but unfortunately I think our luck is running out, we can't rely on our mids all the time so ill be a broken record and we need a damn forward now and not immobile or gab.

Lets just hope I the usual January rut. But things do need to change. Either they need a decent low intensity week because they do look tired but if its because of pure lack of intensity from they players then a straight kick in the ass is needed ASAP. February is a massive month and we need to be in form.
That's exactly what I was thinking. Switch to a more solid defence, protected by the midfield. It's best to play Pirlo infront of Vidal and Pogba because it's fucking clear that Pirlo can't keep on drifting/running around the field. Just let him play those throughballs.

partly Vucinic his fault, but by pausing the video below at 0.56 you can clearly see that he is not the only one who is committing a mistake. Caceres obviously is covering his opponent on the outside, and wasn't able to cover the inside in time. As a CB, it is also Bonucci's responsibility to cover the gap between him and the other center backs, while he could have spotted that the pass was actually the only option the guy had. Also it seems Buffon isn't even trying, in a situation like this he should either cover the near post, and guess that the shot will be placed in the far post, or he should come out of his goal even more and force the striker to go around him. He didn't do any of these and instead just stayed standing still.

Stayed up until nearly 3:00AM on a Monday morning to watch that garbage :touched:

Nothing is working for us at the moment. Buffon seems out of form, defence looks shaky without a hard tackler and man market like Chiello, Pirlo out of sorts for the most part and coupled with no Marchisio, and our strikers, well, we all know the story there.

Two massive home games against Udinese and Genoa coming up. Six fucking points please.

I recall Fulham players not understanding why Hodgson worked them so hard until they saw the results from it (see their Europa League run).

I watched some of Sampdoria - Milan, it hurts how bad we played against these two teams in particular. We won in extra time against Milan but looking at them today made me realize we could have won with a three goal margin had we played to half our potential. And Sampdoria, I can't understand how we lost against them, they are extremely bad and they were one man down. And today with Parma, the same story. We make a lot of mistakes, we are static and when we have the ball we don't know what to do with it.
