any1 watching cantrocampo they gave their player ratings Sissoko (5.5) Juve's second worst player after Noce, the media don't like him don't know what else he has to do
Sky loves him and he has received a lot of good pagelle in the papers as well.

Anyone notice how the Juve players were higging Amauri in the first half ?

English commentator : " Juve players unusually showing a lot of love to Amauri , do they know something we don't ? Anyway , let's get back to the game "

Perhaps we are going to get him after all.

Ranieri after the game .

"In the first half we never managed to get close to the goal, but in the second half we were more determined, my team never gives up. They were two very different halves. I'm unhappy that we didn't get our reward and obviously for not having gotten the three points."

Asked how much Juve have changed since the arrival of Mohamed Sissoko, he said: "Sissoko has integrated himself very well in the squad, he feels like one of us. He's doing well physically, he wants to do well, he can still grow, but I want to talk about the whole team's reactive power. In the second half we really put them under pressure, creating a lot of chances, but only converting two of them."

On Amauri, who's allegedly a transfer target for Juve and scored a brace tonight, he joked: "Yes, we are interested in him, but he didn't need to convince us like this..."

Last part was funny .

A few more words about the game:

Sissoko:
Sissoko was just brilliant today, excellent ball control, very good contribution with precise one touch short passes, heavenly tackle from very very long distances, his speed and stamina were amazing, it seemed that he could exhaust Vieira and Gattuso put together!! We have never since such a powerhouse since Davids!!
A quite skillful too, his brilliant supersonic dribble and shoot, actually created two goals. Sissoko today was the very definition of the ball winner, he single handled deposed Palermo players and start counter attacks for us, about 50 times in this game!!! That must be some kind of a record!! His tackles were not elegant, but they were clinical!!!
Sissoko had some brilliant performances and i challenged his will and consistency,
however he proved to be much better than i hoped, Sissoko has greatly improved since he joined and he is not only keeping up with his great performances, but he is also improving!! And in pretty much every field, his confidence grows and our players seem to trust him more now.
I was very disappointed to see Neddy go out injured, because i know that he persists more than a human being can and his action aspire the rest of our players, to keep up with his efforts and fight for the win
Not even the skillful Camo and our captain can lead by example, as Neddy does,
i didnt expected to see the newcomer and inexperienced, the young Sissoko to fight with more determination than them. Remember the first half where everybody else failed to do smth?? The ref was ruining Camo's game and DP was outmuscled and was extremely ineffective and unlucky, who was the one that make the difference and actually turned this game??
That was Sissoko!!!
He fights with an incredible determination, i have never seen before, nor at the Poll, neither with his NT,
i hated him for his moronic comments before, but his efforts today, shows smth, that he really came here to fight with his heart for Juve!
And thats all i can ask from him, his position, his role in the team makes this sacrifice essential. A player that feels nothing for the team cant deliver that way for very long, Nocerino lost focus, because he sees that we dont trust him for the future, or just because he is thinking of Napoli, i dont know why, but it really shows on the pitch!!!

Ranieri

I usually bash this guy for his clueless subs, he seems unfocused and he always fails to do the right on the spot decision.
He rarely learns from his mistakes and he insists of using a new formation every single game for all the wrong reasons.
BUT lately it seems that one of his advisors happens to be a logic fellow!!
The choices/subs he made today were brilliant, bringing in Iaquinta and switch to the trident was our only hope to turn this game without Neddy,
CR rarely has the guts to make such a bold early in the game and he wastes valuable time. Well today he didnt!!!
The choice to furthermore adjust our offensive scheme with Tiago and Salih were applauded, Noce was pretty bad and even at his best days, he cant offer nothing offensively, Mommo was pretty effective, we were losing pretty much and Tiago was our only chance to create more chances for our forwards.
Many people accuse CR that he is biased and that he favors Nocerino and banishes Tiago from our first eleven un-rightfully, so it was a pleasant surprise to see that CR realized by himself Noce actually sucked today and Tiago would have done better!!Finally... Thank GOD!!!
Grygera from the right side (ironically) isnt that effective, he tried to make an impact but he failed miserable, most of the times he just avoided trouble, like Molinaro used to do...
Salih wasnt any better, but we have seen he can do better offensively (well not in Juves jersey though), but what the hell, thats our choices for now...

If CR, drops the long balls tactics give more chances to our creative players, i will stop bashing him (for now).

As of now, any realistic chances we had for direct CL qualification were just rubbished, we can blame the refs and luck all you like, but i wont easily forget the lack of determination and teamwork we had in many matches, including today's first half, our direct opponents gave us the opportunity to win more this year, but we already have won more than expected and i guess we should be happy about it and dont ask for more...

it better not be at the cost of giovinco....
or Marchisio + De Ceglie + 25 mil, Secco is stupid enough to do that, ruin our future and our present transfer market period, to get a 28 year old player, just to bench Del Piero and Iaquinta, while our defense will make as feel ashamed of being Juventini fans in European competitions...
lets just pray that Neddy will last forever and we wont need Giovinco in the future, lets just pray that Molinaro will keep playing like today and we wont need De Ceglie.
Meanwhile admire how Marchisio grows in Palermo, soon to be a NT player...

hopefully we can put this one behind our backs and concentrate on milan coming, specially now that viola are 2 poitns behind and with us having a game in hand. the race for the cl spot is back again when we really could've put it beyond any other team. i guess it was'nt our day. i didnt see the game but i read the comments and its obvious to me that as soon as tiago got in we were better off. i dont see nocerino staying next season he has been a big dissapointment really.

No Amauri to Juve. He is way to expensive and I would much prefer having De Ceglie, Marchisio and Giovinco. I am really hoping that milan or Barca outbid us on him so Juve spend the money the right way!

imo molinaro wasn't better than nocerino... but everyone on this forum who postes ratings gives molinaro better rating.. molinaro thought he was like sergio ramos or something? he ran with the ball in the box (and lost it) for like 5 times in 1 half

we need a draw or a win against milan..

Well after all,he did what he suppose to do......he scored,he scored twice,he runed,he outjumped our defenders....It's like Trez we always wanted to have :)
Who Amauri??
You get it wrong, Amauri plays for a mid table team, they use him as a CF, but if he joins us, he wont the CF, he will join Treze in the offense and Treze will be our main target man. Amauri will be brought to do Dp's,Iaquinta;s and Palla's job.
NUT without the usual service and attention he has in Palermo, he wont have this assistance but he will have to face all the lack of creativity we suffer, plus the immense pressure in the team, he must immediately deliver or else, world champions like DP and Iaquinta will take his place. Amauri has never faced such a challenge, many players collapse when the do face such a challenge, esp at this age (28) IMO it is already too late for Amauri to try his lack in a very competitive team, if he was a couple of years younger, that would be ok.
Just look at Iaquinta and Luca Toni, these guys are fine examples, they played in the same league, they shines in their middle table teams and they switched to bigger ones too late, now its too late to make an impact.
And if you think that Amauri will help us resolve our creativity problems, think again.
Where was Amauri in the second half, when Palermo couldnt come forward, how many chances did he create?? How many times did he made the difference without the superiority of his team to back him up???

yes but he also made 5-7 successful crosses!! 10+ runs, 5-6 successful tackles, he depossesed his direct adversary more times than he lost the ball and he also tried to threaten with 2-4 long shoots, instead Nocerino had absolutely negative contribution, every single time Molinaro+Sissoko passed the ball to him, he lost it, every single time he tried to steal the ball, he failed or cause a foul, Nocerino was by far, the most ineffective player on the field, despite being a better player than Molinaro.
