Actually I think we could use this formation next year if we buy Kjaer
Chiellini Canna Kjaer 3 men defence all great defenders
Sissoko and Melo to protect those 3 defenders Camo gets back to the right side Diego behind the forwards DP/new forward and Amauri/Iaquinta/Trez/new forward
as for the left side we could do 2 things
1) Put Giovinco there
2) Buy somoene great who has a better defensive ability than Giovinco

thats my favourite too
I'm really worried that 36 year old Cannavaro is our starter this season, but considering him as a started next season is just sick. If we don't buy a worldclass CB next year we will be fucked up! and we will end up exactly like Milan, with Kaladze, Favalli. We better change mentality before it's too late!

3 great defenders, Camo and Criscito on the sides, two of Sissoko, Melo and Marchisio in the center and Diego behind the two strikers, or two of Deigo Giovinco and Delpiero behind the striker.

Fullbacks are nothing but headache, they leave space behind that cost a lot, unless you have players like Lahm, Evra or maicon, that's another story..

The only good thing that could happen now is the intrenational break and time for Ciro and co to make the right conclusions and figure out how to fix the situation and start bringing wins and performances...start scoring some goals ffs...
    Dp we need you.
    :(
the worse did not happen in munich, now you guys need a break after the scandal at palermo..!

The good is to be good

I had really good laugh reading last page.

If we are not careful and continue with HEEHAW first touches, thinkerman will surpass us in 2-3 games.
I totally agree, the road we are taking is definitely wrong and I see us lose position to Roma, Fiorentina and Genoa in two matchdays. Something has to change drastically.

I just checked the schedule for next game:

    Juventus - Fiorentina
    - - - 10/17/09 18:00
    Genoa - Inter Milan - - - 10/17/09 20:45
    Napoli - Bologna - - - 10/18/09 15:00
    Parma - Siena - - - 10/18/09 15:00
    Lazio - Sampdoria - - - 10/18/09 15:00
    Catania - Cagliari - - - 10/18/09 15:00
    Udinese - Atalanta - - - 10/18/09 15:00
    Chievo - Bari - - - 10/18/09 15:00
    Livorno - Palermo - - - 10/18/09 15:00
    Milan - Roma

We can be on top next match day if we beat Fiorentina, cos im 100% sure that Inter cannot beat genoa home, not the way they are playing, while Lazzio will get at least a draw vs Sampdoria (I don't see them as tittle challengers) I want them to be on top so they can pressure inter. so it depends on us...

Criscito as a left midfielder? I doubt it will work
On the other hand Criscito could replace Canna when the time is right and add depth so we won`t need to us Legro too much (I think Legro is overated here and was good enough for a medicore Juve if we want a great Juve than Legro should only be a last resort)

For all you people who still think a midfielder who can create and dictate play still isn't needed then today was proof that you were wrong. Diego is being marked out leaving us with no one else to build up play.

Someone please explain to me exactly what the hell happened last night. Judging from the highlights I saw Melo fuck up completely leading to a goal (he needs to be able to just boot it up field. He had no options yes but kicking it down the other end is better then giving it to the opposition). The other goal was just terrible marking.

What was the DC sub for Diego all about? When you're 2 goals down it only makes sense to sub on Giovinco. I'm starting to see cracks in Ciro's management. As much as I love the guy he's making some mistakes and the team just doesn't look motivated. When Melo lost the ball the whole team just stopped and watched it all unfold. None of them are desperate enough. No one is moving around in attack. We play like we're 3 goals up even at the worst of times.
This is a decent group of players we're fielding and these results can only indicate one thing.. poor management. Whether its tactical issues or things more personal then that, its just not happening for us.

And some here think that the international break will do us good? You all know that Lippi will take Buffon, Legrottaglie, Chiellini, Cannavaro, Grosso, Marchisio and Camoranesi.

YAY Azurri fan boys, happy now? Seven of our starters don't get to rest. Fucking idiots!
im not sure who's the idiot here, we should've kept Blasi, Ruben Oliveira and Palladino, because they are too shit to play in their NT? all the world's best players play in their national team's, so it has nothing to do with Azzurri on that matter, the positive thing is that Cannavaro-Chiellini-Grosso links up pretty well because they've played together before this season, but when we play without Fabio, who is the leader of that defence, there's no start for the attacks and bad things happen in defence.

I guess you're an Azzurri fanboy and my post stung you exactly as I intended. I feel happy my bait worked.
