Does everyone who has said this game is must win believe Juve cannot win the league if they don't win tomorrow?

There is no such thing as a 'must win' game in the league at this stage of the season for genuine title contender.

I think it would be a good boost of confidence, after 4 draws. A win on the road is always pleasing.

Well if we keep drawing games then by the time when the season has come to the "must win games" phase, it might all just be too late. :p

I know Marchisio is being rested tommorow, but for me Poulsen should not be starting. For me it should be:-

Buffon

Zebina-Legro-Chiellini-Grosso

Camo-Melo-De Ceglie

Diego

Amauri-Iaquinta.

I would like to see us use the wings abit more hence De Ceglie starting. Poulsen loses possesion and is weak going forward.

I think psychologically it is a must win; the game will define probably the level of confidence for the team as a scudetto favorites. With 4 draws in a row, Inter (and possibly Fiorentina) getting all three points, the pressure is certainly on us.

IMO, If we don't win this one, then we haven't improved on last season.

My prediction is a narrow win for us. I believe in this team.

1. I'm glad you have such a deep knowledge of the players' psyche.

2. How can you draw conclusions about the quality of a squad before said squad has had the chance to allow all new players to settle fully or to put something resembling a full strength team out?

It really is weird that some of the members here expect to adapt to a new formation with 4 new players playing in it, and under a new coach in 6 games. It could take a good 12 months before we are fully settled. All this title talk is optimistic I think. We have the quality but at the end of the day we are still a new squad.

Btw has anybody watched Palermo this season?.

So who is going to win the title then? If you say Inter is the main bet, then well they also need to adapt just like us, with a lot of new players, heck, totally new strike force and tactics, with Eto, Milito, Sneidjer.

I dont like to make title predictions. The team who deserves to win it over the season will win it.

They were 12 points better than us last season.

Even if they also take time to adjust, we still have some catching up to do.

If our players can click, then I see no reason for us not to win the title but thats a big 'IF'. For me it depends on Diego finding his feet. Last season in some games we lacked creativity and our forwards were isolated, this year we have arguably one of the top playmakers in Europe. If he can find form then who knows.

My point basically is that even though Inter are defending champs, there has been so many changes in their side that we cant really come up with the excuse "we where never gona win it this year, since our team (juve) is still adapting with new players...." Inter has made as much revolutionizing as us.

That, I agree with.

You can't invest as much as we did and not consider the title a realistic objective.

Am expecting an extremely difficult game for us. Palermo is always a tough place to travel to (for most teams) and they are at the moment going through a poor run of results so would really want this win.

I think we really need to be switched on for the 90 mins to get anything from this, If we played like we did against Bologna then I can see us drawing again and probably even losing. I would love to see Amauri FINALLY break his goal drought at do it against his former club. We need all our strikers to be firing.
