3 points but really poor performance.

That ws probably the weakest team we have faced this season and we struggled at times.

The back 4 with McKennie at LB was a mess. I'm not sure whether Motta was trying to be clever with his position or he just had no idea where to stand but it was a massive hole at times. It led to Kalulu playing like a LCB in a back 3, the problem is we only had 2 centre backs.

On a side note, their player Bianco was a massive diver throughout which the ref indulged. A particular highlight was when he claimed a head knock for clearing a fairly routine cross with his forehead. The ref then stopped the game when we had possession and decided to give them the ball on the restart.

Nothing has changed. We aren’t making the CL with these performances. Lucky to hold on to a depleted (last placed) Monza.

Absolutely abject second half. Barely created anything. Can’t defend well either these days, so many schoolboy errors creeping into our game again.

Shocking to be this poor against bottom placed side missing half their starters. Mottaball is killing any passion for the team. There is no grit, no team spirit, no creativity, nothing that makes a team atm. Fiorentina next, so lets see what happens. Id say losing at home against them should warrant a sack.

Foul throws, regular misplaced passes under no pressure, a goalkeeper that couldn’t come for crosses or catch the ball, a player going down for a head injury after meeting a cross with his forehead, a referee who then doesn’t know the laws of the game giving it to the other team.

Hard to believe I was watching top flight football because it looked a shower of shit.

The foul throw was funny in that Monza did one straight after the ref had awarded them the throw. There were others in the game too.

I've watched the majority of our games and a few other teams in recent years, I've seen numerous foul throws but I've only seen them called twice, both against us.

We still lack identity as a team. Atalanta and inter would have raped monza today by 4 plus goals. This is a game where i expected us to impose ourselves and show whatever it is that motta is trying to get this team to implement. Again we dont see it.

Gonzalez in the middle...koop deeper....mckennie a utility...we see lots of different things..and even though we got a win today...we still looked awkward and were easily exposed at times against a bottom side.

Our next game.will be a huge challenge...maybe a loss is what we need to wake up.

With one man less our midfield looks much more vulnerable than last season. So many times we see defense line being exposed 100% naked because of lack of protection from DMs.
