If DP and Zlatan start against Messina and the former doesn't put in a man of the match performance he'll be benched against Real :down: I think Capello should rest Ibra on Saturday and whoever has the better game between Del Piero and Trezeguet starts alongside Zlatan on Tuesday.

I think he's proud of himself for catching Udinese off guard with his 3-4-3, and he's trying to catch Messina off guard aswell. I don't really see how playing with 5 defenders is going to get us a goal within 36 seconds like last week, but.. he's the coach

Can't help but feel sceptical about this formation, It does not really look strong.

i dnt think we can afford to rest zlatan, as if we fail to win and milan win, then we guna lose top spot, he has to start zlatan and hopefully partner him with DP cuz Trez is just so lazy.

I cnt wait to see montero, haha messina probably going to hire some more physios in preparation of the aftermath

With the 5-3-2 linup it doesn't matter if Zlatan plays or not, we're not gonna score anyway. Our midfield is way to weak even when we play 4-4-2, 5-3-2 is a big joke? I actually think we should rest DP and Zlatan as well and play 5-5-0 instead, then we might get a draw...

5-3-2 becomes 3-5-2 in attack,
we have to use wingers a lot,
emerson sould double work,
zebina make camo have no worries in the back,
blasi wont have to be creative as olivera, just cover zambro,
it can work but we will exaust camo and zambro and they wont be fresh for real match

You do realise that this 5-3-2 is remarkably similar to the 3-4-3 that we played last week, don't you? It's just more stable and with three midfielders Zebina and Zambrotta have more freedom to get forward. When we played 3-4-3 we had Zebina and Zambrotta in midfield acting as attacking wing backs, they will do the same in this formation, the only difference is that instead of playing the trident attack we have sured things up in midfield by introducing Blasi. I'd actually like to see us play this in Madrid on Tuesday with Nedved in for Blasi. This isn't a bad idea on Capello's part, the only problem is that Montero is included in the starting line-up.
