There's nothing clear about it, a single angle taken from space and at 10x speed? How can a ref based on that solitary clip conclude anything and decided in record timing? Where the fuck 7 mins injury time came from in the end is beyond me too.

What else was there? The penalty call which was also VAR checked? Let me see how much time was wasted on that... from 86:54 until 89:12... that's 2 minutes and 18 seconds.

5 minutes and 33 seconds only for these two.

What else was there? How many substitutions? From what I can see, the two coaches made subs on 5 different occasions in the second half. That's 0:30 per sub, or 2:30 minutes in total.

How much do we have? 8 minutes?

Any injuries for which the ref stopped the match? There was at least one, for Alberto Costa.

I still don't get where did the ref find those 7 minutes. It should have been at least 8. The only logical explanation is Marotta.

Going down easily expecting a foul is endemic to the league and you see it given every single game (defender shielding ball from attacker, defender throws themself to ground at slightest contact, free kick given), so in this case I would sooner blame the standards of refereeing rather than the players who are simply gaming the system. At the same time this leads to complacency, and as we are shit those moments of complacency are more likely to end up costing us games.
