I will definitely go for Poulsen being a defender. He can play @ CB and RB too
Poulsen is the typical no-nonsense player who will break up play. I hope he is fit for this game.

The back 4 will be

Mellberg - Poulsen - Legro - Molinaro

so would I but he is not match fit, so I guess we are better off mantaining the CB partnership played in our game vs. Catania

Poulsen can maybe play the last 20 minutes if things are going well, just to get match sharpness. However I like for the two CBs to play 90 minutes because the position is so much about rhythm and timing

That's what i would do. I'm not a fan of the line-up Sadomin proposed, which has Molinaro as RB and De Ceglie as LB. It took light years for Molinaro to start playing ok, and combine well with Nedved. I'm pretty sure he'll be completely lost on the right side with Marchionni, and to mark Zarate on top of it. Plus i don't like De Ceglie on LB, especially as a defender.
I'd rather keep Molinaro on the left side, put Mellberg on the right side where he played really wll so far, and only add Ariaudo in the center next to Legro.

It was a bad timing to lose two starters from the defense. We're playing against a team whose power lies completely in the attack. Lazio's attack is like 99% of the team. They scored 29 goals so far, only 2 less than us and only 3 less than league's best attack this season.

With the defense we have atm, we simply must win the midfield and we must repeat the match against Udinese when we didn't let a ball pass through our midfield, which left Quag, Di Natale and Pepe jobless.
Alen, you are spot on with that assessment of Molinaro and the need to play him at LB to link up well with Nedved. He definitelt SHOULD NOT play at RB

The Midfield battle will indeed be everything but I believe Lazio will lob long balls over the midfield for their mobile attack which our back 4 will have to be prepared for.

there's a reason why Ranieri has played Ariaudo & Legro as starting CB's for the last 2 games besides the injuries, against Catania he could of easily chosen a different defensive line but IMO he was testing the Ariaudo & Legro partnership for this very game

Ariaudo it will be, and thats a good thing. He has impressed me in every game, that I watched him play. Mellberg on the right and Molinaro on the flanks, Legro and Ariaudo in the middle should be okay and enough to get the needed points. Midfield and Attack should be the same as against Catania. I just loved the way we played in offense. One touch football and putting our opponents under constant pressure! Thats what I want to see!

I don't think Alen is needed, he might have played but the point is that Moncao was a friendly and I doubt Ranieri played Ariaudo because he is planning in case Chiellini gets injured.
