credit to lazio they played at a very high tempo for the first 30 minutes never let us settle. there midfield owned ours and there trident attack kept us pinned back.

Ranieri could have matched there formation to pin there back line back and open up space for our superior quality to tell. he has to be braver and trust giovinco he has not let him down so far

did any 1 notice how many stupid shots and just hopeful long balls we made? it was ridiculous. we needed gio at the start of the 2nd half IMO.

I think you should just shut up and stop swearing at, and insulting a Juventus player.
As they say the truth hurts, people can make 1,2 and 3 bad passes but the player isen't capable of doing anything losses possesion cannot pass cannot shoot,he is a waste of the right wing spot, even when he loses possesion he shrugs his shoulders and acts like it's not a big deal.He has a anal attitude and should'nt don the shirt again.

I find it interesting that there were some "ref mistakes" against us after Inter's loss.
thats stupid, the ref did well and was equal...lazio had some questionable missed calls too. we did not play well, dont blame this on the ref.

It would've been better if the team in some didn't way know the result of Inter's match. We played it safe and I don't like that approach at all.
just like I said, we were at a disadvantage from the start with the extra expectaition, if we had kicked off at 3 it would have been a different story right now

you can't win every game. Playing lazio away from home with a makeshift backline was never going to be easy. Manninger made a terrible mistake for lazio's goal. He made a good decision to come out and attack the ball, but he totally misjudged the flight of the ball. We had a couple of good chances in the second half that we should of capitalized on, but that's the way it goes. It's not like we were playing for the draw, because clearly we went out in the second half and were the better team.

what did gio bring to attack with 10 mins left? He lost the ball most of the times he got it today, he needs more time but he definitely didnt bring anything today, especially with a measly 10 mins of time to play with
he brought a bit of spark. won us a few free kicks. im saying if he wouldve had more time he wouldve done much much better.

Terrible match!Did we want to win this?We looked clueless in the first half while there was some better preformance in the second.Manninger made 2 big mistakes and we concided once. Our defense is the positive thing today I guess.Ariaudo impressed me while Legro was as good as always.Molinaro was good while Mellberg's better position is clearly CB.Midfield was terrible.Nedved tried but not much out of it,same goes for Marchionni.Zanetti was invisible and Momo wasn't good and especially in the first half.Del Piero didn't do anything and Amauri has shown what a beast he is but yet again nothing out of it.Overall,terrible.

Manninger-5
Mellberg-6
Ariaudo-6.5
Legro-6.5
Molinaro-6.5
Marchionni-5.5
Sissoko-5.5
Zanetti-5
Nedved-5.5
Del Piero-5
Amauri-5.5
I kind of disagree with you. I think we played an alright game. Keep in mind that we are playing away and Lazio were playing good. We conceded an unfortunate goal but we showed character by pulling even fast. We were denied a PK and a few FK from great locations. We controlled the game while Lazio returned back and stayed at their ground. We were playing with a patched up team.
I think we were just a few calls away from winning the game.
Well Del Piero once said it, the ref is part of the game's situation..

i think mellberg has a good shot for MOM he scored for us and was solid. he made a good challenge late on when it was 2 on 1.

Tonight i noticed one big difference between pre-Calciopoli Juve and this Juve.
In 2005 we would've gotten a penalty when Amauri felt in Lazio's box. It was a close call, and it wouldn't have been scandalous if the ref gave us a penalty, but he didn't and he would have in 2005 or if it was Inter or Milan playing tonight.

Our defence was what stood out in this match. On the attacking half of the pitch, only Nedved was watchable.

Molinaro got stuck in well and covered a lot of ground. Really helped both Ariaudo and Nedved. My MoM alongside Legro.
I can't understand why you guys keep on overrating that freak. Yeah he wasn't horrible, but man of the match? :shifty:

It's one of Legrotaglie or Mellberg. Mellberg for not scoring only, but he marked very well entire the match.
