Sorry Snoop, but that's just wrong. We don't have any capable wingers with Camo out of action while we have strong forwards, a weak defense and two good defensive midfielders. The logical, common sense thing to do would be use the 4-3-3 in this situation as the straight 4-4-2 needs the wingers we don't have.

yeah I know we will never agree with this

But I see your point, since we lack wingers you want to go forward though midfield, or maybe long balls could make 4-3-3 work without creative midfielders. Midfield is the connection between defense and Attack, if the midfield is weak, not creative enough or fast enough or good at passing, you can't have connection.

Almiron - Nedved - Zanetti would be the only available players add to that Nocerino. With Nedved going more forward, Zanetti and Almiron will probably stay in the center, we can't defend the opponents from the wings with Biri and Molinaro at the sides. But If you had a solid defense, then I wouldn't worry about that, like Chiellini on the left and Zebina or even much better right back there, and ofcourse two world class proven CB s.
