Play the trident Ranieri!
Since we are going to concede a lot of goals (and of course we will with no Chiellini) might as well have 3 upfront to equilibrate the difference!

--------------Buffon------------------
Sali----Legro---Grygera---Molinaro
-----Almiron--------Zanetti---------
Iaquinta------Trez----------DelPiero

Buffon

Birindelli - Grygera - Legro - Salihamidzic

Almiron - Zanetti - Nedved

Iaquinta - Trezeguet - Del Piero
Looks good but unfortunately Ranieri hardly ever gives us the lineup we want. I'm willing to bet he'll continue with Molinaro and probably the 4-4-2 as well.

I think this time we'll get the line-up we want, or at least something close to it.
In the past months, with our defense being pretty shaky, Ranieri's logic was to use 2 DMC's and since these 2 DMC's aren't creative at all and we could have done shit from the center, he used two wingers to stretch the game. Thus the straight 4-4-2 which was a good choice most of the time.

But this time we'll be without 2 of our best 3 defenders, the third one was sick in last few days and one of the DMC's is suspended. On top of it, Salihamidzic will probably play in defense and he's attacking much more than he's a defensive minded player.
No mather what Ranieri puts at the back, we'll probably conceed a goal or two.
As many suggested, the only way to do it is to attack all the time and to score a goal more than the opponent.
Ranieri should see this, and he probably will, and that's why i expect him to start with 4-3-3 (Iaquinta-Trez-DP in attack) or to play the way we started against Empoli (4-2-3-1), with Zanetti-Tiago at the center and a trident Marchionni-Nedved-Del Piero, or Marchionni-Nedved-Iaquinta playing behind Trezeguet.

I think this is how we'll do it, or at least i hope this is how we'll do it. It seems crazy to start with straight 4-4-2. It will be Atalanta and Catania all over again if we play 4-4-2, just that this time we'll be against an in form team with attackers that score for fun lately.

Hello from http://www.ucsampdoria.co.uk

I'm obviously a Sampdoria fan.
Just like to wish you good luck in the coming game.
we are in great form,it should be a great game on sunday.
I say it will finish 2-1 Sampdoria.
Hi there. I wish you luck as well although of course juve will win. I think this should be a high scoring game. With both sides boasting great forwards but lax defences (especially after Chiellini's injury) this has real potential to be an exciting match. I look forward to watching Cassano but i hope he has an off day. Sampdoria are very lucky to have him and if his season continues to be so good they will have to fight tooth and nail to keep him in the summer. i predict 3-2 to juventus. A trezeguet double and a Del pie set piece. Cassano either scores or sets up both Samps goals. Buffon is the world's greatest ever keeper and he really will be the difference I predict that he will save us many times in this match.

I would love to see Almiron for a change , and considering injuries, to me only 3 points will count, don't mind about game that much. Of course would love to see , hanger and skill but...

ya sali has to play at lb or rb. I'm pretty sure raneri will play him at rb. If tiago wants to go there's no point in playing him, give almiron his chance.
