So we'll probably see this

Buffon

Zebina - Stendardo - Chiellini - Molinaro

Salihamidzic - Camoranesi - Nocerino - Nedved

Trezeguet - Del Piero

We aren't really chasing anything at the moment as first and second place are beyond our reach while we also sit comfortably in third . I think we should concentrate on beating Parma and after that , we should give Gigi his much needed rest while we could also give players like Palla , Marchionni , Nocerino etc.. one last chance to prove themselves , especially Palladino as I think he has hasn't really shown us what he's capable of . At least then , we will knowfor sure whether we should sell them or not this summer .

its been a blessing in disguise, though. we beat mi;an and inter without him, things may have been different if he played.
True , but we also suffered without him as well . He might have made a difference against Empoli and Palermo for example . I think Camo and Momo combine well in midfield , but when having Zanetti and Momo in the middle while putting Camo on the right wing , only then do I think our midfield is on its very best .

I also realized that he performed so well for us at the beggining of the season that he actually covered up a lot of Nocerino's flaws . We never really criticised Nocerino that much untill Zanetti was injured . I think he's the leader in our midfield , and I think only he can bring the best out of Nocerino .

When Sissoko and Nocerino play , Momo concentrates on completing his game to perfection and doesn't really focus on leading Nocerino while Zanetti has that experience and leadership that every midfield needs .

Nocerino's defensive skill is not bad, but his passing skill is far from good. But against Parma it should be enough.

In summer we read that he is like Gattuso, but he can pass better...maybe it was wrong. :)
Welcome to the forums! :)

Legro might make the Parma game!

Good news about Nicola Legrottaglie: the defender, forced to go out in the second half of the game against AC Milan after his right knee was hit hard during the first half, is feeling much better. Tomorrow his fitness level will be evaluated in view of him possibly playing Wednesday night against Parma. Momo Sissoko was hit hard too, on his right ankle. Despite his condition improving, the midfielder will probably need to miss the match against the team from the Emilia region.

The Momo-Zanetti partnership wasnt exactly setting the league alight either tho in their 3 or so games.. Hopefully they can find a way to compliment each others game

Thats right, but IMO, he's been our best player until his injury. He was outstanding to say the least.

Yes , but then again you wouldn't expect them to as Momo had just moved from Liverpool and it takes a lot of time and effort to build on a good partership ; however , it probably is the best option we have and I'm sure that with time they'll form an excellent partership . Zanetti was our best midfielder before he got injured and combining him with Momo , who has been in fantastic form , would only make sense .

Thanks for your welcome!

I hope we will see a win against Parma and I would like to see Iaquinta in the starting XI. He deserves this, Trez isn't in form recently, unfortunately.
