I don't know just how familiar you are with Italian football culture and Italian football culture in general. What I've noticed is that they tend to victimise themselves and others. So quite frankly, yes, people DO tell me to mourn the guy. Mediaset tells me so, RAI tells me so and the fucking bartender tells me so. But I refuse to say that this guy was a victim. Easiest ways to prevent things like this happening in the future is to make it compulsory for these service stations to have a security guard outside so he can stop confrontations, and maybe on matchdays they increase the number of guards.
It might not solve everything but they could not be blamed of not trying

To pull out a Seinfeld reference, I think we should have cops be garbage men while they're not chasing robbers. Give them a trash bag and spoke. It will be beneficial to every community in general.
